A Forever Kind of Love- Chapter 3

‘Jessie is standing in The Gallery observing all of the interesting people that have showed up to Bev’s opening of Evoke.  She had never understood modern art like this but came out, the good person that she was to support her neighbor.  Jessie looks across the gallery and notices Nina in her blue/green dress observing the look of devastation on her face and then seeing Nina run out of the gallery.’

‘Hours later well after midnight Jessie returns home and hears loud noises coming from Bev and Nina’s bedroom.’

‘Meanwhile across the fence at Bev and Nina’s; Bev is standing in front of the mirror removing her shirt and sees a reflection that she isn’t expecting.  She looks to her left and sees Nina sitting there.  Nina looks up at her and speaks, ‘I know, I saw.’  Bev walks towards Nina and begins explaining ‘I love you’ Bev is looking into the devastated face of her wife realizing that Nina had somehow found out about the affair with the plumber.  Bev was walking towards Nina continuing to say ‘I love you’ but to no avail.  As she reached Nina she felt a hard impact from Nina’s hand on her face.’

Tina stopped reading, she couldn’t continue.  She didn’t need to read this, especially now.  But she was sitting there behind her desk thinking back to that night/early morning almost four years ago and the tears once again found their way down her face.  She remembered the moment in the CAC that she had seen Bette with Candace and it all came together.  The intimacy that was shared between Bette and the carpenter was more than just an employee and employer.  She remembered leaving the CAC in the cab to return to the home that she and Bette had lived in for the last five and a half years and looking around to the many pictures of the two of them smiling and enjoying their joined lives.  She got a drink of water and made her way into the bedroom where she had sat and waited until Bette had returned home hours later.  She had watched Bette enter their bedroom, remove her shirt, notice her sitting there across the room and turn towards her.  Then the part of the night that she forever wanted to forget, her hitting Bette in the face something that they had vowed never to do, and worst of all the angry violent sex with Bette repeatedly saying she loved her.  It was a night that Tina wished hadn’t occurred, a night that changed her life as she knew it.  Most tragically of all, it was the night that she had planned to tell Bette that she was pregnant.

    2. It goodmais ça serait plutôt “une sorte d’amour éternel” ça ne se s’écrit pas vraiment “un genre d’amour éternel” ça se dit, mais très mal et ça fait très jargon…

    3. ouch such a burn…im hoping for some romance lol…i think that when it gets to half 6 more than words will be expressed.cant wuat for another update

    4. Should we just get ourselves read to be left wanting more after each chapter? I’m glad Bette was able to talk to Jodi and get everything out in the open. when she finds out that Bette is seeing Tina I hope she doesn’t flip. I can’t wait for the next chapter. PS

    5. Good that Tina could shake off the after effects of the script that she should not have read in the first place. At least she spent the afternoon with Angie and maybe that put her in a better frame of mind to deal with Bette and what she would tell her. Hopefully she will keep an open mind and remember the love they both share for each other and for Angie and let that love rule the hour for them and not that damned script. Hopefully they can have some romance or at least plan for a very romantic weekend, if Kit will keep Angie for them. PPS

    6. Its hell to love someone so much and at times b e so far apart. Tonight might be the night to shoten the space,Just hope that She and Tine will talk and that Bette can show and tell Tina how much she loves her. thanks
