Tina Kennard
I come home after having been at Gary’s place for some time after school. We had a talk and kissed a bit. I don’t feel ready to go any further than kissing. Sometimes I am afraid I’ll never feel ready for that, but I haven’t told Gary about it. There’s no point in it.
I come into the kitchen to get myself a drink. My mother is sitting on a chair. She was reading the paper, but now looks up at me with a smirk on her face.
“Something wrong, Mom?” I ask her, a bit worried. She has that look on her face saying she found out I did something naughty – she isn’t mad at me tough.
“I heard something interesting today, Tina.” She attempts to wink, but as always, fails. My dad is a very good winker, I wish I had that talent from him.
“What is that?” I ask her, wondering what on earth she could have found out about me. I always get an uneasy feelings at moments like these. My mother is very keen on the word “communication” and she wants me to tell her everything that’s going on in her life.
“First of all, I have a question for you. Where have you been after school?”
“At Alice’s, as I told you.”
“So, if I would call Alice’s parents, they would confirm you just spent time with her?”
“No, because they aren’t home.”
“I see.” She tries to wink again and again, she can’t manage it. I begin to seriously wonder where this is heading.
“What is it that you heard today?” I ask her directly. I don’t like all this talking without getting to the point.
“Why did you not tell me you have a boyfriend by the name of Gary Wilson, Christina Kennard?”
“What?” I can’t believe this! How on earth does she know I’m with Gary? Then it hits me: of course. She’s a teacher who gets along with all of her collegues, and she teaches at the school I am attending.
“Heather, Helens daughter, told her mother who told me.” Helen Cohen is my biology teacher who is also very involved in everything in the school.

I think Bette is going to hug & kiss Tina in her sleep, or her pretend sleep and Tina might actually wake up and be like oh my God I like Bette more than a friend! lol PPS
A sleepover – the ideal situation to confront denial – Bette can hardly keep her hands off Tina and they will soon be sleeping in the same room/bed. It’s so going to happen…can’t wait for the next chappie…PPS!

Awww,these two girls are so cute both secretly likeing each other and wanting more than friendship. Both also not wanting to hurt the person they are with. Gary is clueless but Carmen is waiting for Shane to get jealous and make a move. I hope this night they spend together will move them closer to what they really want. I wonder what Tina’s mom will think if she and Bette get together? PPS
Not only is Tina blind she is very dense. Cant she see the love in Bette eyes and the fact that Bette is alway there for her,and does anything to please her. thanks
