A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 68

“Hey Bette. How are things going?” She asks.
“They’re okay.” Bette says and looks over at Tina and smiles. “The food will be here in a couple of minutes.” Bette says to Tina. Tina nods.
They talk some more to Shane and eats. Then they head towards the hospital and the physio.
They are seated in the waiting room, but soon get the call from the assistant.
“Tina Kennard.” She says.
“Yeah.” Tina says. “Could you come with me?” She asks Bette.
“Off course I will, you don’t even have to ask.” Bette replies and smiles. She grabs the handles on the chair and pushes Tina through the doors and into the therapist.
“Hello Ms. Kennard, I’m Darren Williams, I’ll be your therapist.” He says and reaches out his hand. “Hi, Darren.” He says and reaches out his hand to Bette too.
“Hi, Bette Porter, nice to meet you.” Bette replies.
“So, I understand it that you don’t have any movements in your legs. Correct?” He asks.
“Yes, that’s correct.” Tina replies.
“Well, then we have to do something about that then, don’t we?” He says and smiles.
Tina smiles back. Bette takes a seat on the chair next to Tina. Tina reaches for her hand.
“Well, I’m going to start by doing simple stretching and bending exercises on your legs, just to keep the blood pumping. Then the last 10 minutes I’ll massage them really good. Hopefully not far from now, you’ll be walking out of here.” He says and smiles. Bette squeezes Tina hand a little.
“Okay, let’s get started, no point in waiting.” He says and gets up. “I’ll need to get you onto the bench here.” He says.
Tina lets go of Bette’s hand and let Darren lift her up onto the bench. She then get Bette to help her take off her pant.
“Just lay back, relax.” He says.
Tina turns her head towards Bette. And Bette grabs the chair and moves it close to Tina’s head. She gently stroke Tina’s hair and smiles to her.
Darren starts to slowly bend the right leg up and down, then her ankles. Then the same on her left leg. After 15 minutes of different bending exercises he asks Tina to turn around.
“Tina I need you to turn onto your stomach.” Darren says.
“Sure.” She replies.
He helps her a little with the legs. Then he continues with the bending.
“If you feel anything, you have to let me know.” He says.
“I will, so far nothing.” Tina says.
Bette holds on to Tina’s hand. After 15 minutes on that side too, he asks her to turn around again. He starts with the massaging. And 10 minutes later the time is up.’
“Well, we’re done for today.” He says. “You have an appointment tomorrow too, right?” He asks.
“Yeah, every day actually. Doctors orders.” Tina replies.
“Oh okay, then I guess I’ll see you again tomorrow.” He says.
They say goodbye and Bette and Tina leaves the hospital and head for the club.
“Oh I forgot my camera.” Tina says.
“Okay, I’ll just turn. No problem.” Bette says as she makes a u-turn. Minutes later she stopped outside their apartment building.
“Where is it?” Bette asks.
“It’s by the couch, in the bag.” Bring the laptop too, the case is in the study. I want to show you something.” Tina says.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” Bette says and runs upstairs. 5 minutes alter she comes back with the laptop and the camera-bag.
They start the drive towards the club.

that was great with the physiotherapy Tina soon will be walking again and it just start and she feels more happy yet..great to see her and Bette sharing some tender and kind moments it better for her not spend much time at home alone is good go out and see other people and have some fresh air with this she have no time to get depressed..another amazing chapter i only have to say thank you Lauren :o)
god so it won’t be too long before tina is back to normal.. another great chapter…please continue

Shane walks in and sees Tina sitting by herself, so she walks over.
“Tina, hey.” Shane says and smiles.
“Hey.” Tina replies.
“Are you here alone?” Shane asks.
DUH Shane!! Tina just wheeled herself down the highway to the Planet. Com’on Shane…we know you don’t do morning, but this one was a bit much.
Lauren, please have Tina start to regain some feeling in her legs. I find this whole episode so damn depressing. I’ve read way too many FF stories in which one of our girls’ drives off upset and something tragic happens.
How come they can’t ever get in a car, be upset, and arrive home safely?
I don’t think that is asking too much…..then again, this is FF and ya’ll do believe in drama at all cost! LOL

This might be a lshort road for Tina,again a long road. It really doesnt depend on her., It might take a while for the nerve end to mend. Lets hope not.

Great chapter, it is good to see Tina getting out and seeing some of thier friends. The physiotherapist was good with Tina, although I am surprised the she or Bette did not mention her back painso that he could take care of it. I hope that Tina shows Bette all of the pictures that Jess took. Jess is a sweet heart and I hope that she gets to spend more time with B&T to excapefrom her foster father. Please post again soon.
finally Tina is doing physio she will be back on track in no time for her and Bette could move on with their lives and plains Bette will love the photos even if Tina looks sad in some of them thanks L youre so great thanks for the update

It’s great so see how Bette and Tina found some balance sharing the mundane things. This easiness at home and the endless way Bette takes so gently care of her certainly helps Tina to feel courage enough to go to the Planet – such a hard step to do…
Darren seems really ideal, communicating a genuine optimism to Tina. She needs so much to keep a positive attitude during all the long work they’ll have to do together…
You know, this morning, reading few of your first chapters – just for the pleasure ! – I realized how you brang a very similar situation, even less tragic, at the beginning of B&T relationships. At this time, it was Bette who had a serious car accident with an injured leg and she thought golf wasn’t possible for her anymore. But then Tina’s support and faith truly helped her to win the battle. Well, for me this similarity is full of hope for our poor Tina ! Why wouldn’t she win her fight against injuries as Bette did ? She will !!
Finally… you’re such a tease here, Lauren, stopping this chapter when Bette has to endly discover Jenny’s photos ! Grrrr… *wink*
