Chapter 54
The next morning, Tina woke up first, she lay quietly watching Bette sleep.
“God you’re beautiful.” She whispers.
The soft sound makes Bette stir a little. Tina moves her hand up to Bette’s face and pulls back a stray hair. Slowly Bette opens her eyes. Her tired face slowly turns into a big bright smile.
“Hey beautiful.” Tina says quietly, smiling at her.
“Hey T.” Bette replies as she leans in for a kiss.
“Mmm, good morning.” Tina moans.
They lay in silence, just looking into each others eyes. Caressing each others faces and intervening their fingers. Several minutes later, Tina breaks the gaze.
“We should get up. I have to get to work in an hour.” She says and starts to get up, but Bette pulls her back down. Tina falls on top of Bette. Bette smiles and pulls Tina down and kiss her passionately on the lips.
“I love you.” Bette says and then lets Tina get up.
“And I love you too.” Tina replies, leaning down for another kiss. She then walks into the bathroom.
Bette stays in bed 10 more minutes, smiling and thinking. “How could I get this lucky?” The thinks, but actually says it out loud.
“I ask myself that question too.” Tina says, coming back into the bedroom.
Bette jumps back and almost looses her breath.
“Oh my, Tina, you scared me.” Bette says as she tries to get her breathing back to normal.
“Sorry.” Tina replies with a slight smile. Tina has a towel wrapped around her head, drying her hair. She takes a seat on the bedside near Bette.
“I ask myself that question every day. Because I can’t believe that I got this lucky.” Tina says and take Bette’s hand in hers, softly rubbing it. And then leaning down and kiss her once more. They smiles at each other, and looks in each others eyes for a few minutes.
An hour later:
Tina just arrived at Golf.com, she got out of the elevator on the 10th floor, and she is stopped by the receptionist.
“Hello, Ms. Kennard, Mr. Davies wants to see you in his office.” She says.
“Oh, okay, right now?” Tina asks.
“Yes, I’ll let him know that you’re here.” She says and calls him on the intercom.

A bit calm, but they were due. Going to be hard for those two to be away from each other, I’ll bet, Bette follows.

aww Bette and her puppy eyes how could Tina resist?..lol..but be away sometimes is good to feel longing and miss each other in a good way so when Tina come back they will feel more together than ever..ok why im a little worried about that person Tina will work with??? Drama coming???..lol..i cant get enough of your story your really write with your heart we can feel..please post soon!!!!

hmmm the drama begins….lets see… someone has an eye on Tina and lets her know it, which leads to the suspense o”would Tina do it, after all she’s missing Bette and horny as hell…LOL” or Bette catches someone’s eyes or Bette’s eyes do some serious looking hmmmm now that’d be interesting, after all Tina’s is her “first” ANY WHO, I”M JUST RAMBLIN>>>>POST SOON WILL YA!!!!!!!!
Another very good chapter, as usual. I know they have to get used to being away from each other, but it’s a little too soon. I hope Bette will be able to go with her, like some sort of vacation. There’ll be other times in the future to be apart. What do you think?!
I fully agree with Pandora007’s comment : few days far of each other will be not too long to be unbearable and simply ideal for a more than delightful come back indeed ! Come backs are so enjoyable and lovely, it worths the price of a short separation from time to time, I think !
It’s also the ideal way to truly feel how precious is a relationship.
I’m also concerned about the journalist Tina will have to work with… But perhaps am I simply a bit paranoiac here ! (lol)

you know i am new in this site and your story was the first one i read and i just finish to read all the 54 chapters and i love it your Bette is so adorable so kind and Tina really means the world for her and Tina too is very tender with her, and 4 days pass quickly, oh and in sickness and in love is beautiful too sad but beautiful, you do a wonderful job post soon will ya??????????

It will be hard on both of them. but Bette needs to stay and get so swings in and the being away will be good for both of them.
Another beautiful addition. I think the time apart will be good for them, they will realize how much they need each other. I don’t see drama coming, these two are so much in love that they are not even looking at other people.
I’m glad that they are back with their normal lives. They do need to work too, although Bette does have enough money to do nothing. Like I said before, I love the golf part. You really know what you’re writing about. Kiitos!
