Chapter 35
Bette pulls Tina up and they once again sit down on the bench. Tina lay in Bette’s arms.
“I don’t want to rush this.” Bette says.
“What do you mean?” Tina asks
“Well, I love you and want to marry you, but I want us to take our time. I don’t want to rush this. There’s still so much more we can learn about each other. We still need to get to know each other If you know what I mean?” Bette says.
“I agree.” Tina replies.
“Good. So I propose we set the date one year from now. That way we can plan. Get it exactly how we want it. What do you think?” Bette asks.
“I’m with you all the way.” Tina replies looking up and smiling at Bette.
Bette leans down and kisses Tina’s lips.
“Let’s get back, it’s getting late.” Bette says as she stands up. She reaches out her hand to Tina and pulls her up. They walk the short distance back to the hotel.
“Tomorrow I’m taking you ring shopping.” Bette says and smiles. All excited as they walk into their room.
“You are huh?” Tina asks. She takes off her jacket.
Bette walks over to her. She cups Tina’s face in her hands and kisses it softly then more passionately.
They both undress with the help from each other. Tina gets onto the bed looking at Bette with a want and need. Bette follows and gently lowers herself on top of Tina. She traces Tina’s lips with her tongue asking for entrance, which Tina gives her. Their tongues start playing and the kisses raises to the next level. Tina let out a loud moan. Bette moves over and is licking Tina’s cheek and up to her ear. Then she slowly moves down on her neck then onto her chest. She takes Tina’s breast in her hand and massages it gently, then kissing her nipple and sucking slightly. Tina’s nipple hardens and Bette moves on to the other nipple and applies her loving touch there too. With her free hand she moves down to Tina’s center and teases Tina’s ***** by rubbing it softly. She makes her way down Tina’s sweaty body leaving a trail of kisses until she reaches her *****. Tina is grabbing the sheets and thrust her hip upwards.

Geeezz..ok back to the story..but i dont even need to say that i love it..Bette made the right decision they need to know each other a little better and about the dinner i hope mama kennard show up and talk to her daughter…and i hope see Tinas payback on Bette later..lol..great chapter Lauren as always youre great thanks :o)

Well, Tina has great taste with the rings : that’s true, these simple and combined ones are a beautiful symbol for our lovers’ tender fusional bound.
So, an entire year of engagement ? How sweet… even if it’s a long waiting, I must say ! But I guess you prefer to reserve this happy event for a time where Tina’s family could be around her – am I wrong ? (lol)

I agree with Bette’s idea to put the wedding off for a year so that they can get to know each other better. I also hope that Tina’s mother shows up at dinner. I am also worried or wonder how Tina is going to react to Bette’s MONEY. I was not really surprised at the price of the rings, but I really can’t believe or go for the jeweler in NC saying congradulations to lesbians on thier engagement. Sorry, in the SOUTH–I am not buying it.

I’m glad they’re not going to rush into this marriage. Give them time to really know each other, their insecurities, their fears, their strengths, their views on different things in life, and see if they will be compatible for the long haul. It’s good that their relationship from the beginning has been out in the open, so that’s not something they have to deal with. Now, if they can just Tina’s family on board, they’ll have that much more support, when things get rough….Just a small personal note….I’ve been in a relationship where I was the main financial supporter. I know that Tina makes good money on her own. I just would like for Tina to be more forthcoming when it comes to paying for things. I mean, I know, in the end, Bette will probably pay for most things, but for Tina to at least say something to the effect that she wants to contribute financially, as well, would be nice. I got the whole ‘feeling the pressure being the sole financial supporter’ from season 1. It really hit close to home, although I didn’t act out, like Bette did. But, just to have your partner’s input, where they are investing in whatever you two decide, is a big weight off one’s shoulders. Maybe it’s just me. Okay, just forget I said anything. This story is going along just great. Post soon.
