    Bette’s turn, Bette and Tina make a decision. and then lunch with Maxine.

    Tina thinks a little, and then she looks over at Bette who gives her a little smile. Then back at Maxine.

    Yes, I accept your apology. Tina says and smiles.

    Bette moves her arm up to Tinas back and gently rubbing it.

    Mom I have something to tell you. Bette says as she looks over at Tina with raised eyebrows. Tina nods and smiles.

    What? Maxine asks.

    Tina and I have decided to move in together. Im moving to her apartment next weekend. Bette says and holds her breath for her mothers reaction.

    That was soon. Maxine replies.

    Yeah, we know, but we love each other and we know that what we have is strong. Its the right step for us to take. Bette says. And smile towards Tina.

    Maxine is a little uncomfortable by the thought, but she hides it the best she can.

    Mom, I can see that it makes you a little uncomfortable, but this is something you have to get used to, as well as this. Bette says and leans in and kisses Tina on the lips. She new that it might be a little harsh, but she had to get through to her mother, and show her what Bettes new life is all about.

    I know it is hard for you to see, but if you cant accept that and truly see what this relationship is and means to me. The best thing I know is to show you. That way it will be a reality for you, because I know you, and how you deal with thing that is a little uneasy. You pull away. But this isnt something you can pull away from. Bette says.

    Maxine sits and listens to what Bette says and she agrees with it all. She needs to see it, to get used to it.

    I know, and I agree with you. Maxine says and smiles. It will take time to get used to it, but I will get there. Maxine says.

    They order lunch, and enjoy each others company. After lunch Bette and Tina leaves, they decided to stop by the Planet and do dinner there today. Neither of them felt like cooking.

     

    The Planet:

    Bette and Tina walks in hand in hand. They look around and see Alice and Shane sitting at a table in the back. Alice spots them.

    Hey, TK. Alice shouts across the room.

    They walk up to the table and they take a seat.

    So, where have been lately. Shane asks.

    Well, work and at home. Tina replies.

    Oh, so when is it time for poker night again? Alice asks.

    Well, why dont we take it next weekend, lets say Saturday or something? Tina suggests.

    Saturday? We have always done it Thursdays. Alice says a little surprised.

    We have something to tell you guys. Tina says. Just then Dana walks into the Planet. Bette sees her and stops Tina with her arm. Bette shouts out Danas name. Dana smiles and walks over and takes a seat.

    So, what is it that you want to tell us? Alice asks.

    Well, Bettes moving in. Tina says and smiles, looking lovingly at Bette.

    Wow, that was quick. Alice says. But its great, you two are great together. Alice says and smiles.

    Yeah, you guys, its great. Shane says.

    Dana just smiles at Bette.

    You fell big time, didnt you? Dana says and gives Bette a hug.

    Yeah I did. Bette replies smiling back.

      You know, for me Tina’s choice to not move in Bette’s much more luxious place is something highly delicate : it’s a great way to proof that she doesn’t love her for her money – as Bette’s mother thought at first – but for herself.
