    A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 193

“Here babe, your hot milk and honey.” Tina says and set it down on the night stand, she takes a seat on the bedside. Bette slowly opens her eyes.

“Oh, could you turn off the lights?” Bette asks as the light is too bright for her eyes.

“Sure.” Tina says and gets up and cuts the off.

“Thanks. My God it hurts. I think it might be a migraine.” Bette says and closes her eyes again. Tina takes the wet cloth and put it over Bette’s forehead.

“Do you have any idea what brought this on?” Tina asks.

“No. Maybe it’s a sort of release. We’re finally free, everyone is healthy. Maybe it’s my body’s way of letting go… sort of.” Bette says and smiles from under the cloth.

“I hope so. I’ll go and check on the boys, I’ll be back in a little while okay?” Tina says and leans down and kisses Bette’s lips softly. “You just relax.” She adds in a whisper.

    “Yeah.” Bette says and smiles.

Tina leaves the room and closes the door. She walks out to the twins. She makes herself a cup of coffee and takes out a book from the shelf. Then she takes a seat on the couch and starts to read. After a few minutes, the boys demanded attention.

“Mommy, mommy, see.” Danny says as he stands beside her and shows off the latest piece of art.

“Oh, honey, that’s great. I’m putting that up on the fridge later.

“Mama?” He says and looks around looking for Bette.

“She’s not feeling so good, so she’s sleeping.” Tina replies. “You can show it to her tomorrow.” Tina says and smiles at him.

Noah comes over and reaches up his hands. Tina sighs as she doesn’t seem to be able to read anything. She put the book down and lift Noah up and into her lap.

Danny also wants up so she lifts him up too. Noah climb out of Tina’s lap so he’s standing on the opposite side of Tina from Danny. They both lean into Tina and  starts playing with her hair, they pull it, sometimes a little too much.

“Ouch. Guys, you can’t pull it like that. It hurts mommy. Soft strokes only.” Tina says.

Later that night. Tina has put the boys to bed and also fed Andrea with the milk stored in the fridge. She was tired, it had been a long day. She walks into the bedroom. Bette is still in bed and still with a wet cloth over her forehead and eyes. She hears Tina enter the room. She removes the cloth and opens her eyes.¨

Tina undresses and climb into bed. Bette turns and faces Tina.

“Hey, babe, are you feeling better?” Tina asks.

“Yeah, a little. It’s just an ordinary headache now.” Bette says. “Did the boys behave?” Bette asks.

“Yes, they always do. Andrea too. I fed her with milk from the fridge. She was smiling and didn’t cry once.” Tina says and smiles.

Bette takes Tina’s hand and softly kisses it. “Babe? Did you mean what you said, about donating money to the Center?” Tina asks.

“Off course. I’d be happy to. You do important work there. I’ll be more than happy to donate.” Bette says and smiles.

“Thank you. It will mean a lot the children there. We’ll set up a meeting on Monday. Is that okay?” Tina asks.

“Sure… T? What happened with Helena today. Are you okay about that?” Bette asks softly.

“Yeah. If she tries anything again, I’ll call he police.” Tina says.

“Okay, good.” Bette says and smiles.

Tina leans in and kisses her on the lips.

“I love you Bette, so much.” Tina whispers and kisses her once more.

“I love you more.” Bette says and smiles.

“Not possible.” Tina replies with a sweet grin on her face.

“Sleep tight, my love.” Bette says and closes her eyes.

“You too babe. Love you.” Tina says once more and then they fall asleep.
