Okay. Bette says. She lift Noah out of the high chair and Tina lift Danny out. Danny runs over to the play corner. Noah follows after Danny, walking. Bette noticing a little limp in Noahs right leg.

Tina? Come here. Bette says and stops by the dining room table.

Tina walks over to her.

What babe? She asks.

Its Noah. He has a limp. Noah, could you come back here? Bette calls out to him.

He gets up from the floor and walks over to his moms, with a limp.

He does. I wonder what it could be? Tina asks a little concerned. She lifts him up.

Does your leg hurt now? She asks and points to his right leg.

He nods and starts sucking his thumb. We should have it checked out. Tina says to Bette.

Yeah. Bette says and rubs his back. He leans into Tinas chest, still sucking his thumb. Ill take him, you finish in the kitchen. Bette says and takes Noah from Tinas arms. Bette walks into the living room, she sits down on the couch and set Noah down on the floor.

Go and play with Danny. Bette says as she lay down on the couch. He nods his head no.

Mama. He says and tries to climb onto the couch.

Dont you want to play with your brother? Bette asks and strokes his face.

Okay, come here. Bette says and helps him up. Bette rolls slightly over on her side and Noah rests close to her chest. She put her arm around him and strokes his back slowly and soothingly. After a few minutes he starts to silently sob. Tina enters right at that moment.

Babe, Im starting to worry about him. Tina says and sits down on the floor besides the sofa. She too starts to softly stroking Noahs back.

Shh, sweetie, its okay. Bette whispers to him. She then looks worriedly at Tina and nods. He continues to sob. Danny comes up to them and set himself down on Tinas lap.

Does he have a booboo? Danny asks looking up at his mommy.

We dont know sweetie, maybe. Tina says and puts her arms around him and holds him close.

We should get an appointment with Dr. Wilson. I dont want him to be in pain. Tina says and looks at Bette.

I agree. Why dont you go and call her office now. Bette suggests.

Yeah, Ill do that. She lets go of Danny and stands up, walking over to the phone. Danny stays and looks at his brother for a few moments, before he runs over to the play corner and continues what he was doing earlier.

Hello, this is Tina Kennard-Porter. I would like to get an appointment for my son. Hes two and a half years old. When is your first opening? She asks.
