Chapter 102

“Beeette.” William comes running up to Bette. She smiles and lifts him up.

“Hey, little man.” Bette says.

Tina softly touch Bette’s back before walking over to her brother. While Bette walks over to her sister with William on her arm.

“Hey, baby sis.” Kit says and smiles.

“Hey Kit. Have you talked to David yet?” Bette asks.

“Yes, we have talked. It was good to see him again. Thanks for inviting him Bette.” Kit says.

“You’re welcome. But I’ll tell you now, that if you hurt him again that will be the last time I’ll help you. Got it?” Bette says.

“I got it. I won’t hurt him again.” Kit replies.

“Good. So what did you think about the ceremony?” Bette asks.

“It was beautiful Bette.” Kit replies.

“Yeah, I love her so much. It has been a perfect day so far.” Bette says and smiles.

“Simming.” William says and starts to wiggle his way out of Bette’s arms.

“No, there’s no swimming today Will, I’m sorry.” Bette says in an understanding voice.

“Play?” He asks.

“I’m sorry William, I don’t have any toys here.” Bette says.

“Hide and seek?” He suggests.

“Maybe later, okay. Next time you come visit, I promise I’ll play with you, okay?” She says to him. He’s listening closely as Bette’s talking.

“No play?” He asks.

“Not today, why don’t you go over to Jessie, she’ll play with you.” Bette says and lowers him down on the floor. He doesn’t walk away. He stands there next to Bette’s leg and grabs a hold of her leg. She smiles at him.

“He loves you. Why don’t you go and play with him a little while.” Kit says.

“Yeah, he’s a great kid.” Bette says. She looks down on him as he looks up. She bends down and lifts him up again.

“Okay, little guy, let’s play a little.” Bette says. He smiles his widest smile.

She walks over to Jessie and got her to join them with Matthew.

Tina looked over at Bette and smiled, but at the same time getting a little sad. She new that Bette wanted kids, but still she didn’t feel ready.

Bette looks up and find Tina, they look at each other smiling.
