Yale university: The next day….Tina moves in…
Tina pulled up in a Uhaul truck…she, her father, and mother all get out…They help move their daughter all the way up on the third floor….damn that was alot of stairs to travel especially if moving in…They bought the last of the boxes upstairs and the blond collapsed faced down onto the bed…the need to catch her breath was an emergency…she began to feel a bit dizzy and turned over on her back…she pushed her hair form her face and takes in more fresh air…her mother comes into the room….
Mom: “hey…aren’t you gonna start unpacking?”
Tina: “not right now…but later for sure…I’m too tired to bend over at the moment…” she sits up in bed…
Her father enters the room checking it out…he says…
Father: “you have a nice apartment…wow look at those light fixtures…”
Tina: “dad…they’re just lights…” she gets out of bed and stands next to her mother…
Father: “I know what they are Tina…you know how I get when I see lights…I get ideas…I love upgrading”
Tina looks over at her mother…she hugs her and says…
Tina: “I’m gonna miss you guys” rubbing her mother’s back
Her father turns around says…
Father: “we’re gonna miss you too pumpkin…” he walks over and kisses her on the head
Tina’s mother turns towards her and says…
Mom: “are you sure you have everything?”
Tina: “yes…I’m sure…mom I’ll be fine…really” she rubs her back some more
her mother smiles and says…
Mom: “I know…I’m just making sure…god I’m gonna miss you”
Tina: “I’m gonna miss you too mom”
Tina hugs her mother…she goes to pull away and her mother holds her tighter…she hugs her mother somemore…she pulls away and her mother busts out crying…she leaves the room and Tina’s father comes walking back in…
Tina: “is mom gonna be okay?”
Father: “she’ll be fine…”
Tina: “I should’ve known she was gonna take it the hardest…”
Father: “yeah…you are her only child so…I guess that could be hard on mothers…but not fathers…we understand…”
Tina smiles and hugs her dad…she says…
Tina: “hmmm….I gonna miss you…”
Father: “I’m gonna miss you too kiddo…hey this is for you”
Tina’s father digs into his pocket and pulls out five-hundred dollars…he hands it to her and says….

i love B&T beginnings, you’re right, there’s always something wonderful about them, at least less drama then they are separated and finding their way back…one question: how do you keep all your stories straight? i can barely manage 2 LOL
