    Chapter 29 & 30

     

    Chapter 29

     

    Bette glanced at the mirror one more time, checking out her reflection in the mirror she really wanted to go see Tina tonight but she had promised Helena she would show, and promised to be Kit’s date.

     

    Bette was wearing a loose fitting red dress that had a very low cut front, she decided to wear her favorite pair of heels, and her hair down she wanted to look good since she was planning to pay Tina a visit tonight.

     

    At 9pm on the dot, her cell phone rang.

     

    “Bette, I’m down stairs, waiting hurry cuz I’m double parked”

     

    “Geez, Kit you could have at least come to the door to pick me up, is this how you treat all your dates?” Bette teased

     

    Kit laughed

     

    “Just hurry”

     

    “Be right down” Bette hung up grabbed her bag and locked the door on her way out.”

     

    “Tiiiiiinnnnnnnnaaaaaa!!” Alice yelled

     

    “Aren’t you ready yet?”

     

    “Oh my god, Al chill out, it’s still early” Shane said

     

    “Ok guys sorry I made you wait” Tina said as she rushed down the stairs putting on her earrings as she walked to grab her back.

     

    “WOW!! Ms. Kennard you look HOT!!” Carmen said

     

    “Carmen you better watch it your girlfriend is sitting right there, we don’t want her to get the wrong idea” Tina winked

     

    “No worries, I agree Tina you look fucking hot” Shane replied

     

    “Why thank you” Tina did a turn

     

    Tina was wearing a black halter top dress that showed off her creamy white shoulders and exposed her back, the dress also, she wore her hear up in a messy up-do she, finished the outfit with some silver jewelry and black 4 inch sling back, shoes.

     

    “Yeah TK, and those fuck me Choo’s you bought today, man… HOT!”

     

    “Someone’s, gonna get some tonight” Alice said

     

    “Don’t be silly Al, it’s been a while since I’ve been out to a club I just want to look good and I’ve decided I’m going to let loose and have some fun tonight.  You guys are right I need to learn to enjoy everything I’ve worked so hard for.”

    3. Please don’t let Tina take Shane’s advice, she couldn’t be more wrong. Bette and Tina both are acting like idiots. They need to stop being silly and talk seriously with each other. And predatory Helena needs to back off, she just can’t have every beautiful woman she sees. They need to talk again immediately and Bette needs to apologize to Tina immediately. Maybe if they would dance for a little bit and then get the hell out of that club and go home where they belong. Together. Thanks for posting.

    8. Maybe Shane is just trying to play into Bette’s jealousy. Tina needs to listen to herself. She has looked for love in all of the wrong places and was not satisfied or felt compete until she met Bette. She is too mature to want to play with her heart or that kind of love. She and Bette are worth fighting for. PPS :o).

Bette is a bit too proud and having seen Helena and Tina flirting is not gonna make her see sense – Tina on the other hand is older, more experienced and supposed to be an intelligent business woman .. taking no good advice from Shane. Hopefully someone with a little more common sense will keep Tina from doing something really stupid.

Hi iluvmuzic, Shane is so off base here it hurts.I thought Tina was beginning to realize that Helena was hitting on her as Bette looked on.I hope that Kit can knock some sense into Bette and Tina because Alice and Shane aren’t helping. Helena is prowling around Tina like a jackal ready for its next conquest; Tina.Please let these gals find each other again. My little heart can’t take all this heartache.I want Bette and Tina locked in a room to sort things out without the interference of any of their friends.Jealousy is such a sour colour on Bette.More please as I want a happy ending.Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

    12. Shane may be Yoda, but in this case her advise sucks. lol It would be good for Tina to have fun just not too much fun. I think Bette is being a jerk right now but hopefully she will get Tina to listen to her when she stops being an ass! as always great post. ps. I hope I don’t have to read 30 chapters or so before they get it together. (just teasing) wink
