The game continued into late night with Ashley running the beach nude, Aiden admitting he owned an NSync CD, Madison showing her tattoo placed intimately on her inner thigh, and Kasey and Spencer having to eat a live dew worm.  All in all the game was clean.  The teens still had an entire day ahead of them and decided to call it a night at 1 in the morning.

Madison decided it would be safe to sleep in Aiden’s tent tonight, if he snored she would simply wake him up.  Kyla on the other hand didn’t wish to spend the night with the couple; you never know what could happen between those two.  She unraveled her sleeping bag next to Kasey near the fire.  The rest of them had already hit the hay and were more than likely in a deep slumber by now.

Kasey added a few more logs to the fire before settling into her sleeping bag.  She eyed Kyla who seemed to fidget nervously with her blanket, eyes darting around the darkness.  “You ok?”  She asked.

“Would you mind if I slept a little closer. I just don’t want something jumping out and mauling me in the middle of the night.”  Her voice was low and raspy.

“Sure.”  With that Kyla wiggled closer to her so they were elbow to elbow.  In the distance they could hear a crackle of leaves which caused Kyla to instinctively move closer to the girl next to her.  Kasey snickered.

“What’s so funny? That might be a bear or something!”  Kyla whispered uneasily.

“Nah, it’s probably just a squirrel. No worries, I’ll protect you. That or I’ll make sure you can’t run as fast as me.”  Kasey laughed, looking up at the stars.

“My hero.”  The younger girl rolled her eyes.  “If you don’t mind I’ll just..” She didn’t finish her sentence but instead nestled herself under one of Kasey’s arms and scooted next to her, pressed directly into the girl’s side.  “Much better.” She smiled, nuzzling into Kasey’s sweatshirt.

It was early the next morning when Kasey was the first to wake up.  She wanted to have an early start, perhaps sit by the lake and enjoy a final moment to herself before the gang woke up.  Slowly she slipped her arm from under Kyla and began to stand.  The young girl stirred in her sleep and latched onto Kasey’s sweatshirt cords.  “Where are you going?”  Kyla mumbled keeping her eyes closed.
