Gideon pulled up to the Carlin home to find Clay and Glen making free throw shots on the driveway. They waved at the group but didn’t say much else and went inside the house.
“Weird. Glen always has some trash to say to me.” Aiden quipped confusedly.
“He prolly just doesn’t want me to break his other leg.” Dano joked. She turned to her right to find the two girls in a passionate lip lock that she quickly ended by tickling Ashley at her sides. “That’s enough you two, save it for later.”
Ashley laughed and pried the hands off of her before focusing back on Spencer. “I love you.”
“You too.”
“See you tomorrow bright and early?”
“Ugh. Fuck school!”
“Now I know I’ve corrupted you.”
With one last kiss, Spencer climbed out of the car and said goodbye to the rest of the group as they pulled out of the driveway and sped off to Gideon’s house.
“Do you two breathe at some point?” Gideon asked.
Ashley stared at his eyes through the rear view mirror. “No of course not. We recycle oxygen from carbon dioxide in our lungs.”
“I’m just sayin that you two can hold breath for a long ass time.”
“Practice makes perfect.”
“Please for the love of God spare me.” Dano cried out dramatically.
Aiden was laughing at the whole exchange as they turned the corner onto a residential street close to the Bearclaw household. Daniella received a text message and checked it.
Its Sean. Me, Boz, n Axis R 2 cars behind U losers. Meet U @ urs.
She smiled at the text and informed the rest of the car as they pulled up to a red light. Gideon looked in the rear view mirror and noticed the white sedan directly behind them carrying four people… dressed in brown. His eyebrows knitted in concern while the muscles in his arms tensed up.
Suddenly, the car behind them pulled to the left. “EVERYONE GET DOWN!” he screamed. It stopped right next to them just as the group ducked down and the bullets began spraying everywhere. The sound was deafening, drowning out the screams within the car as the lead punctured the metal of the doors and shattered the windows. The airbags deployed and the car alarm went off only to silenced by a bullet through it’s mechanism. Dano was on top of Ashley, covering her from the onslaught while Aiden and Gideon had crouched as low as possible with their hands above their heads.

I had sooo many thoughts in my head at that moment!! I was like all shitt please dont let Ashley get hurt or anybody else for that manner!! Then I was panicking because I thought.. mmmm what if they got spencer before they opened on Ashley, dano and the others!!! PLEASE tell me that they didnt!! OoO and ashley better get straight with spencer! Spencer is having a really hard time right now and the longer Ashley holds out on her and then when she finds out, Ashley is gonna rather be in the whole gun situation again! I am horrified and I NEED/WANT you to tell me that its okay and make everything all better!! a.k.a update soon and please dontlet anything bad happen!! Your a great writer, im a little scared of you but you are fanfuckingtastic at writing!
