Will There Be A Happy Ending
I slumped against the toilet thankful that it was over for now, and Edward, bless his soul, passed me a glass of water after a moment. I sipped it slowly, testing my body as he pressed a wet towel to my forehead.
“Are you alright,” He asked me with concern clearly written all over his face.
“I should be asking you that. You are the one who had to sit and watch it after all . . . Sorry by the way I know that was pretty gross.”
“Are you seriously apologizing right now,” he asked with a look that clearly said I was being ludicrous.
Without an answer, he gently wrapped his arms around me, pulling me up, and walking me over to the bed. As he laid me down one of his arms hit my chest.
“Ugh,” I breathed in pain.
Alarm immediately kicked in as he asked me what was wrong.
“I don’t know Edward; maybe it was the fact that you just punched me in the boob!”
“What are you talking about,” he was obviously confused. “I barely touched you.”
I couldn’t even think about his answer before I was on my feet and running toward the bathroom again. What the hell was happening to me? I realized as I finished the second round that he hadn’t followed me this time. I was partly relieved and partly worried because he never left me alone like this. The worry feeling increased as I saw his facial expression.
“What,” I almost cried in terror. Did he know something I didn’t?
“Calm down love,” he whispered in my ear suddenly by my side. “Could you do me a favor,” he continued in that dazzling voice of his.
“Anything,” I replied once again, not thinking before I promised.
“Without asking me why, could you just answer a couple of questions yes, or, no for me?”
“Sure. “ I felt uneasy about this, but what could I do? I already told him I would and I would never go back on any promise I made to him.
“Besides your sickness this morning, how else have you been feeling . . . any headaches?”
“Yeah, right now actually.”
“Backaches?”
“Really bad,” I suddenly realized, but still not sure where this was going.
