    SoN AU

    Impulsively, without warning, Dodger swooped in and kissed her neck quickly, his lips colliding with the droplet, the moisture now captured on Dodger’s lips, his tongue swiping at it, a piece of Ashley now inside his mouth. Ash’s head jerked over to look at him, her eyes seemingly focusing on his forehead, then back down to his eyes. The brown circles had grown exponentially, however expressing no signs of shock or anger. The corners of her lips twitched softly, as she raised her finger to push a piece of Dodger’s unruly fro behind his right ear. They stared and smiled.

    The pounding within their chests developed in unison, as sounds could be heard from outside the bathroom door. A soft moaning and the shuffling of heavy feet began to emerge from the crack underneath the door.

    Ashley had stood abruptly out of fear or concern, no doubt having already scoped out the safest route of escape. She took a step back towards the far wall, her palms resting against the cool tile, her back straight, her feet shoulder width apart.

    Dodger turned his head to the side, his ear facing the door, his brain manically trying at ascertain the motives behind the noises, unsure if Spencer was talking to someone, or trying to leave the room.

    Ashley glanced at Dodger, her eyes wide. She took a breath and placed a foot forward, as if she were heading towards the door.

    Both friend’s threw up their hands in defense, their bodies prepared for attack, as the bathroom door flew open, and Spencer’s body toppled into the room, her full body weight pressed up against the door. Her hand was on the doorknob, and she crashed into the wooden door as it smacked into the back wall at full force, almost knocking Spencer to the ground.

    Her eyes were half open, as though still partially asleep, her hair jetting out in all directions, her boxer shorts hanging at an odd angle, her right hip bone protruding. If the situation were not as it were, Ashley would have beamed brightly and swallowed the girl up in a bone-crushing hug, her sloppy appearance the most adorable thing she had every laid eyes upon. That moment was crushed as immediately as it had formed, as Spencer sucked in what sounded like a sob.

    5. I’ve just caught up with your story. I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said before. This is a remarkable story and you’re writing is superb. The content is really thick and heavy and imagery is so vivid. The metaphores and similies you use are just like no other. I do hope you continue writing!
