Papi was crying. Ashley thought it
was a trick.

Ashley:"Why did you bail us out?"

Papi:"If you want her then have her.
I can’t do it anymore."

Ashley:"….Is this a joke?"

Papi:"Just go home okay. I can give you
a *tear* ride if you want."

Ashley:"I can walk."

June:"Papi you okay?"

Papi:"No……I’ll forget about
tonight if you guys do the same"

Aiden and Dawn came to the front.

Dawn:"Papi bailed us out?"

Aiden:"What a twist…"

Kyla:"Thank you."

Papi:"All is well.*tear* I’ll see you
later then."

She got up and left.

At school….

Spencer evaded Ashley the entire time.
Every class they were in she never looked at her. When lunch came around
Ashley finally cornered Spencer.

Ashley:"Talk to me."

Spencer:"No,now move."

Ashley:"Spencer! What did I do?"

Spencer:"Let’s see
1)You came to my house at 11:30 at night,
2)You and your juvenile friends
woke up the neighberhood,
3)you broke into my house,
4)You nearly killed Papi with a
crowbar,
5)You got the police to show up on
my front step.
Happy?!"

Ashley:"Okay so those are some good
reasons but I was provoked!"

Spencer:"What did she do to you?!"

Ashley:"1)She kicked my ass,
2)she got June’s mom to beat me with a
belt,
3)She was in bed with you.
See? Good reasons right there!"

Spencer:"You thought she was in bed with me? Well she was but that was because her grandmother was sick."

Ashley:"So she needed sympathy sex?
When my dad died you didn’t give me
sympathy sex!"

Spencer pushed Ashley into a nearby
locker.

Spencer:"Her grandma died last night
Ashley. She was in the hospital.
Papi knew it was coming.
She wanted me to help her deal with
it."

She walked away leaving Ashley alone.

Ashley:"WELL OLD PEOPLE DIE SPENCER! THAT’S LIFE!"

Spencer:"GO TO HELL ASH!"

Ashley:"MAYBE I WILL!"

A couple people stopped to look at Ashley.

Ashley:"What are you looking at?! Go to class!"

Ashley found a table where Aiden,June
and Kyla were sitting. They were going
over the events that happened the night
before. June was holding a ice pack
on her back.
