    Aiden took a deep breath before continuing, “What I can tell you is that I’m here for you”, he leaned forward and kissed Madison’s forehead, “as a friend…no matter what happens.” Madison’s breath hitched, “Did you see it…did she show you the profile?” Aiden nodded, “Yeah, it looks real Madison. I don’t think that anyone will believe anything else after they see it, no matter what I do to you in public.” Madison swallowed hard, “I’m so fucking screwed…” She covered her face with her hands, “I tried to reach Ash, but she’s not picking up.” Madison sighed heavily, “Sherry and Stacey sent me their first command last night.” Aiden looked at her explaining, “Well, Christine took Ash’s phone away, so you’ll have to contact her in person for now.” Madison’s eyes widened, “Really?” Aiden nodded, “Yeah, she’s really been going off lately.” He frowned worriedly, “What do they want you to do?” Madison smiled sadly, pushing her hair back from her face, “They want me to step down as head cheerleader…today.”

    Tristan stood in the locker room after practice waiting for Ashley to come out of her stall. She finally heard the toilet flushing. Ashley pushed the door open heading for the bank of sinks. She looked almost giddy with happiness, she grinned over at Tristan, “Dude, I so smoked you guys today!” Tristan tried to smile, but it came out more as a grimace, Ashley’s face fell, “Hey, what’s up T, are you alright?” Tristan nodded slowly, “Yeah…I guess so…I was wondering if I could talk to you about something…it’s pretty important?” Ashley glanced over at the clock, “Yeah, I um…look I got something I need to do pretty soon, can I meet you somewhere later?” Tristan shrugged, “Well I could just go with you and we could talk on the way.”

     

    Ashley moved towards her locker, “Yeah, normally that would be cool, but this is kinda…personal…” She pulled her jeans on, “I’ll be done in a few minutes, okay? I’ll meet you by the van.” Tristan nodded. She watched Ashley finish changing clothes, “Ash…this is really, really important.” Ashley smiled, “Come on T, I’ll be there, don’t worry.” Tristan waited a few moments before quietly following Ashley out of the locker room.
