To Spashley With Love – (Chapter: Chapter Three)

    No One’s P.O.V.

    “Aw, your ugly duckling—”

Ashley hit Madison square in the jaw and left the gym. “Chelsea, h-have you seen Spencer?” Ashley asked with concern.

“I thought she was with you,” answered Chelsea. What happened?

“Two words: Madison Duarte,” Ashley sighed. Do you have any idea where she might be?

“Actually I do,” stated Chelsea. She’s probably hiding out in Glen’s BMW.

“Thanks,” Ashley smiled. Ashley left the gym and looked through the parking lot. She finally found Spencer and knocked on the car window.

    Spencer’s P.O.V.

I heard a knock on the car window on the driver’s side at the car. I saw that it was Ashley. What was she doing here? I opened the car door. “You ran out before we had our dance,” began Ashley. I’m not that bad of a dancer if that’s why you ran off. She was trying to lighten the mood, but I wasn’t sure if that was going to work for me. Is this seat taken?

“No,” I responded. Ashley sat on the driver’s seat and closed the door.

“Madison talks a lot of crap, Spence,” sighed Ashley. She’s a royal bitch.

“She was right though,” I sighed. I am an ugly duckling.

“No, she’s not,” stated Ashley. You’re the exact opposite. You’re so beautiful.

“You don’t have to lie,” I laughed.

“I’m not,” explained Ashley. Why else would I come? You’re the only one I want to share all my dances with. I smiled. Why did you run away?

“I…I don’t know,” I admitted. I just panicked. Ashley nodded.

“Why?” asked Ashley. I don’t get it. I defended you.

“You scare me,” I answered with a sigh. I was staring at my hands, which were on my lap.

“Oh,” said a hurt Ashley. I see.

    “No, you don’t!” I said.

“You believe the rumors instead of getting the truth from me,” concluded Ashley.

“I never said that,” I retorted. Look, I… I can explain. I’m scared of why such a beautiful girl would ever want such a plain Jane like me let alone anyone.
