At dinner, everyone was rather quiet. Clay and Chelsea arrived not to long ago and Ashley informed them on everything.

"So Ash, are you glad to be back?" Clay asked.

"yeah i am. it’s nice to be back here with all my real friends again" she smiled at everyone around the table. And fixed her eyes on Spencer. "and it feels great to leave everything that went there. for good." Spencer looked down at her food.

Kyla was swishing her fork around her plate.

"ky whats wrong? aren’t you hungry?" Spence asked

"maybe its your acid sauce. Kyla’s was pure joy to  the taste buds." Ashley smiled and closed her eyes as if imagining the sauce. it made Kyla smile.

"Yeah, you got the easy part." Spencer smiled back, trying not to get annoyed, so she could cheer Kyla up. Actually, shes not sure if she’s annoyed or amused. She and Ashley would always joke around. 

 "no you guys. its great, see?" she ate a mouth full. "Its delicious."

"I gotta get Chels home." Clay said drying the last dish.

"yeah my grandmother just flew in from Texas. " Chelsea added. They hugged the girls good bye.

"I’ll see you at home, bro" Aiden pointed at Clay. 

"You sure will" Clay said walking out the door."

"So, Kyla, i got you a surprise." Aiden pulled out the dvd "Quarentine" that was face down on the counter. Kyla shrieked at the site of it.

"why!?" 

"Cause you said it scares you shitless. It’s MY favorite movie." He poked her stomach.

"No. Stop. I am NOT watching this movie. " Kyla folds her arms. 

"Uh, hell yes you are. i am so in. Scary movies are the shit." Ashley looked at Spencer."And it gets this cutie crawling over to be under my arms."

"Shut up!"Spencer giggled. "Im with kyla…can’t we watch the notebook or something?" She shrugged and Kyla smiled in agreement.

Aiden and Ashley looked at eachother and burst into laughter. "YEAH FUCKING RIGHT" Aiden Bent over. still laughing. Ashley put her arm on Aidens back to keep her from falling. 

"Good..JOKE!" they stopped laughing. 

"In all seriousness, get your little asses on that damn couch." Ashley and Aiden charged the girls. Aiden threw Kyla over his shoulders and Ashley picked up Spencer like a baby.

They plopped the girls down on the couch at the same time. Aiden ran to the DVD player and Kyla playfully ran after him to stop him. Ashley looked at Spencer. 

"Listen Spence, that girl…she doesn’t mean anything to me. You can’t blame me for sleeping with another girl while we were COMPLETELY broken up. I completely stopped talking to her when i got back home, i swear. " 

"Oh so what’s gunna happen when you move again? You’re just going to stop talking to me completely and find another girl to be the next bang on your headboard?"

"I’m not going anywhere. This is home. im going to change. For the better. I’ll even volunteer at an animal shelter if it prooves it to you." Ashley smiled as Spencer laughed. "I’m staying home. With my sister. Clay, Chelsea, but more importantly, you." Spencer kissed Ashley on the cheek. "Oh yeah, and even this new guy over here," She nodded towards Aiden who was prying Kyla from the DVD player.

"Yeah she’s totally love struck. I haven’t seen her this happy since everything before Glen." Spencer nodded. 

"Are you kidding? You called that happy? please. i call that being thankful for having someone who loves her. "Ashley shrugged.

"I mean, isn’t that good?"

"I guess but, you don’t have to be happy to be thankful."

"good point."

Aiden dragged Kyla back to the seat and wrapped her in a blanket. "There now you can’t move and you’re forced to sit in my arms. It’s a winwin situation" Aiden said as Kyla was wiggling and cracking up.

"Who else is winning?" Spencer asked. Aiden shrugged. Kyla managed to reach her arms free and threw Spencer and Ashley the other blanket.

"You guys are" She said with a wink.
