    Jodie goes for the interview at the studio

    Jodie looked at the salary figure again on the card that Tanya Daniels gave her for a position that seemed to have its advantages. She boarded the bus that will take her to the studio for her interview, hoping this would be even better than the last one. She sat down and took a deep breath, then she heard her cell phone ring, it was Spencer again. Jodie a little scared answered the phone, “Hello”. “Jodie are you alright?” Spencer asked with panic in her voice. “Yes…yes Spencer I am fine” Jodie said with concern because she hoped not to make her mad. “Thank goodness, I am so glad I finally reached you I have been calling for an hour and I left four messages. I was worried when you were not here this afternoon” Spencer said. “Oh I am sorry I just wanted to give you and Ashley some space while you guys reunited, I had a couple appointments to go to but, I will home in about two hours” said Jodie with anxiety in her voice. “Great then I will have dinner ready for you when you get home…Jodie…I love you” Spencer said. “Huh…yeah I will see you soon, got to go…bye” Jodie said not wanting to finalize the relationship before it even gets started. She felt bad about not telling Spencer she loved her, but Ashley was back and Jodie did not want to mess it up for them, just because she had a fascination with Spencer.

    The bus stopped and Jodie almost missed it thinking of the telephone conversation. She got off and walked to the studio, a place she hoped offered a peace for her. The studio was awesome and she was so excited, she went straight to the front doors and was greeted by a lovely young blonde woman with really nice legs. Yes Jodie loved to look at legs, that was her “thing” and this lady had a great pair. “Hi, welcome to AD Record Studio, my name is Kelly how may I help you this afternoon?” “Yes I am Jodie Adams and I have a 5pm appointment with Matthew Connors” Jodie said with a smile. Kelly was a tall woman and she looked Jodie up and down, Jodie even saw her unbutton a button on her blouse and hoped she walked next to her.  Just as Jodie hoped Kelly walked right in front of her and got as close as possible so that Jodie could what she could have. Kelly said as she slide a card in her hand, “Please follow me this way, Mr. Connors will see you and I hope you will use this later.” Jodie glanced at Kelly and responded, “Yes I sure will”.

    Jodie walked in and met Matthew Connors, whom likes to called Matt. He was a tall man around Jodie’s age and had a glowing personality. Jodie sat down and was very calm, not nervous like before. Matt said, “Ok I have been looking over your resume and I am very impressed with your education in our field. I would like to go ahead and offer you a yearly salary of $85K for the first year and expect a ten percent raise every year after. The position as our audio and video editor will involve handling more than one project at a time. You see we have a young artist as the owner and we have to make sure those needs are always met. Multi-tasking is the word around this studio and I believe you are the one that can make it happen for us.” “That sounds like a job I can for certain enjoy and be great at, however this is a big move so I would like to have a couple days to think about to be sure” Jodie stated. “Yes that would be fine, you have my numbers call as soon as you can, you would be a great asset to our organization” Matt responded. Jodie left the building full of choices to make; does she take the job as an assistant to a powerful woman in the business world, or the job editing music and videos for all the pop stars in LA?  Either way she was on her way home, where she had to face Spencer and finally meet Ashley.
