“A date?”

“Ya you could have brought one too”

“I hope you have enough wine” Spencer asked

“ we have enough you can have the whole bottle” sky retorted

Spencer glared at her too. She told Ashley that she wouldn’t go out with her and she wouldn’t. emotionally Ashley was nothing to her. Hardly even friends and so who care she had a date tonight. Maybe Ashley would quite bugging her.

Spencer and a few others were talking and the door bell rang.

“So Spencer I’m having a little party by the beach and I wanted to invite you, yo uknow just the casual stuff. Beer, food, games. We’ll have the volleyball net up and stuff.”

“Ya sure I’ll be there Janet”

Spencer heard a husky laugh and looked towards the door she saw Ashley laughing with Courtney and her date…SUMMER. ‘Greatttt’

Spencer saw her before Ashley could see her. Spencer excused herself and went out to the patio to get some air. She had thoughts running through her head.

A few minutes later out came Ashley and Summer.

“Hi, Spencer right?” summer said shaking Spencer hand “we’ve met before right?”

“Ya” she said with greeted teeth “wines in the kitchen let me get you a glass”

“No it’s fine I’ll get it, you stay” summer said turning back inside

Spencer turned her back on Ashley as soon as summer went inside

“No problem getting a date?” she asked sweetly

“Oh god no” Ashley said “with my reputation”

Spencer glared at her as she followed summer to the kitchen.

Soon every one was there and there was small talk among the group of friends.

Hey spencers are you here alone?” Heather asked. She and Spencer had been friends since freshmen year.

“Ya why mess things up with a date” Spencer said

“well Kay has a roommate and she’s a teacher at a high school and I think you two would hit it off”

“A blind date, heather you know I don’t do those”

“She’s got a great personality too, why not?”

“Come on be serious heather”

“Ok if it’s what you want… oh Ashley and summer are here”
