The New Commer
I stumbled down the rocky road trying to keep up with Alice, she walked towards a forest close by but her height made it more worrying just in case I lost her. She stopped at a tree and turned around to face me, she waited until I was stood next to her then she clenched my hand and ran. My hair flew back as if I was on a rollercoaster, the leaves shuddered away from us as we passed by. Everything seemed so unreal, the sweet scent of the air as I inhaled and closed my eyes but let my leg be free.
We stopped about seven miles away deeper into the forest, she sat on a rock and smiled at me, her gleaming golden eyes shone out around the wildlife. I slowly paced and sat next to her, trying to get confortable. I tried thinking of some mature questions to ask her, but the most basic one came out.
"Can I know a little more about you?" I felt like hitting my head on something hard, like a brick wall! Embarrassed by the question I sunk my head into my hand, not knowing if I would blush or not, I felt so stupid as she stared at me with one eyebrow raised.
"Sure, what do you want to know?" She looked at me blankly as I stuttered trying to get the right words out.
"How did you become a vampire?" I gave off a little smile at the left side of my mouth, hoping she wouldn't be offended.
"Ok, lets start from the beginning!" She calpped her hands together and continued.
"Many years ago my parents put me into an asylum because I had visions, by the way I found all of this out a few years ago! Well my parents didn't know what to do, they couldn't handle me so they put me in there. I'm not sure how long I was in there but it was a long time, I made a friend who worked there who was a vampire, he grew very fond of me, then another vampire 'James' started to track me down. My friend found out and changed me into a strong newborn so James had no reason to kill me now I was a vampire." I looked at her curiously, looking into her pixie like eyes and watching her pointed hair blow with the wind.
