    Glen arrives and Aiden is… Aiden.

     

    “Mr. Dennison there is a Glen Carlin here to see you,” Aiden’s secretary said.

    “Thank you Nikki, send him in.”  Aiden got up from his desk to greet the young blonde haired man. 

    “Glen how the hell are you?” Aiden asked.

    “I’m good and yourself?”

    “I’m fine what brings you up this way?”

    “Well I took a few days off to come and visit with Spencer.  But I haven’t been able to catch up with her.  I tried to call her last night to let her know I was coming but she didn’t answer her phone.  Then I tried this morning and she still didn’t answer.  So I figured there was only one person who would know where my sister could be…you.” 

    “She’s not here with me Glen and if she’s not at home I don’t know where she could be.  She told me she was going out with a friend last night and I haven’t talked to her since.  Now you have me worried.” 

    “Well I didn’t come here to worry you Aiden.  I just assumed Spencer would be here with you working in the lab or perched on your desk watching you work,” Glen said with a smirk.

    “Glen Spencer hasn’t worked in the lab with me in months.  She said she wanted a break.  And your sister perched on my desk, get real.”

    “That’s interesting because I thought you and my sister were pretty tight. I’ve been waiting for an invitation to your wedding to come in the mail.  What’s the matter Aiden haven’t been able to tie her down yet?  You’re slowing down man.”

    Clearing his throat, “Glen your sister has made it very clear to me that she is not interested in me.  She has refused my proposal of marriage twice.  I don’t plan on being turned down a third time.  She also made it clear that she just wants us to be friends, nothing more.” 

    “Damn! Sorry Aiden I thought Spencer was in love with you.  Seeing how she clung to you when our parents and brother were killed in that plane crash.”

    “Your sister still clings to me but only for friendship and moral support.  She treats me like a damn girlfriend, Aiden said sighing.  So how about you Glen has anybody grabbed your heart?”

    1. damn straight spence tell him to leave ya alone… although it could prove to be a bad move but oh well. should be interesting to see how things go with glen tagging along… fantastic update, pms!
