After lunch with Ashley then I made my way through the day even though it was painfully slow. Don’t ask me why I’m so obsessed with the whole Aiden-Ashley thing, maybe it’s because I’ll finally know something about Ashley, maybe it’s because I’ll know why she freaked on me that day in class. Either way, I’m really excited to hang out with Ashley and find out what happened.

After my last class I call Ashley to see when she wants to get together and we agree that we’ll go out to dinner and then figure out where to go from there. I got back to my dorm and try to find just the right outfit for tonight. I don’t know why, but I’m really excited about hanging out with Ashley. It’s the first time we’ll be hanging out outside of class and for some reason beyond me I’m really excited about it.

We meet at the dining hall on campus to grab a bite to eat. The dining hall has pretty good food. I know it’s a stretch, but believe me, it’s not that bad.

“You know you don’t have to tell me what happened between the two of you if you don’t want to.” I say as we sit down with our food. I chose the always delicious hotdog and mac and cheese. Nothing fancy but it serves its purpose.

“Yeah I know, but you seem like someone I can trust.” Ashley replies. As it hits me that she just said that she trusts me I look up at her and we make eye contact. She has a little smirk on her face and I can’t help but smile back at her. What just happened? Why do I suddenly feel like my heart is racing when I look into her eyes?

After we get done eating then we make our way back to my dorm room. We figured that’s the best place because her apartment is off campus and she agreed to give Kyla a second chance at a first impression.

We walk back to my dorm room from the dining hall and make our way to my room. The whole way there we walked very close together. Not all over each other, but closer then I would have walked with any of my other friends. When we reach my dorm room I open it to be surprised to see Kyla laying on her bed on her laptop.
