“but why Ashley…why is this time different?” she asked nearly in tears from thinking about it
“because I love you Spencer…I want to be with you…no one else…” I said
“but why” she asked “Ashley I need to know why” she begged
“because…because you kink your eyebrow when you try and be cute…because you always blush even when the most remote thing that’s embarrassing happens to you, because you say you love mainstream music even though there’s not one mainstream cd you own…not even mine…and because I’ve given exactly one of these embarrassing speeches my entire life, and it’s been to you, right now. But if I need to stand here and tell you why I love you Spencer Carlin, then I can go on all day…” I finished
For a second there was a blank look on her face that I couldn’t read
“I think you did alright…” she said leaning into me bringing her lips to mine then I held her close in a hug and kissed her neck “…but I swear to god if you ever kiss someone else again…”
“hey…you don’t have to worry about that…I promise…” I told her
The next few days between us were calm…I planned my speech for Saturday night and well Spencer wrote her final paper for the year…to my luck on Saturday morning she found out she got a 98% on her final paper and was happier than I had ever seen her, but I planned to change that…
For dinner, I took her to the pier that had been closed down for almost year because no one went to it since they built Santa Monica Pier…but I had Aiden help my dress it with lights, and we set up a single table with two chairs on opposite sides, with everything white except the rose petals that covered it…
At around 6 I went home to get ready, and I wore a black halter dress with my black Dolce & Gabanna heels, then I straightened my hair putting a poof on top with my bangs, then I made sure the only thing I had in my purse was that little black box, lip gloss and my cell phone which was turned off…

Ashley certainly is a very romantic lover! Lucky Spencer. I was mad at Ashley for not telling Spencer what happened with Brooke right after the kiss. I think Spencer would’ve been more understanding, and by not telling her showed guilt. I really do love this story and I’m looking forward to hearing Spencer’s reply to the proposal. PMS
make her say yes and then they can start on the next dream (little ashelys)
