I walked in the house really not understanding what just happened. If Aiden was about to walk out of my life, I don’t know what I’ll do. I don’t understand how he could let me go like that…

“hey you ok?” Spencer asked as I sat on the couch next to her

“I don’t know…” I said with a tear running down my cheek

“ash, what’s wrong? Who was at the door?” Spencer asked worried

she walked back over and sat on the couch looking totally upset, and then a tear rolled down her cheek

“who was at the door?” I asked her

“Aiden…” she said then I felt a little pessimistic

“what happened?” I asked feeling like I could regret asking that, then she got up and walked away and I followed her “Ashley…” I started then she turned around in tears

“he told me he was in love with me! He told him that he would walk away from everything we had if I told him I didn’t love him! How could he do that?!” she said in tears and she assumed I would go hug her and hold her in my arms, but after hearing everything that just happened I couldn’t…

“what did you say?”

“I said I was sorry…then I came in the house” she said in tears

“so you didn’t say you didn’t love him…you never told him that you weren’t in love with him?” I asked a little hurt

“Spencer…no, that’s…’

“ashley I see the way you are around each other ok? It’s hard for me ok? I hate saying that, because I know he’s your friend…but knowing the past you have together…damnit Ashley you two could have a family right now if you didn’t…if that thing between you two in high school never happened” I said realizing so much

“Spencer…there’s nothing between us, ok? I love him but not like that…” she told me and my heart sank

“are you sure about that…”I said then she said nothing…I looked at the ring on my finger and walked into the bathroom and she followed me and I locked the door “Spencer! Come on Spencer, open the door…” she begged
