Super duper crime fighting good two shoes and her badass master criminal. – (Chapter: Chapter 7)

“Yeah,” I look out the window.

The TV screen in out dashboard turns on and Arthur proceeds to give us directions.

“Do you all understand what I’m saying?”

“Yes, Mr.C,” we say in unison.

“Oh, and Ashley you’re in charge. DEBS be careful.”

“Wait, what, I’m in charge! I can’t be in charge.” Too late he was gone. Damn.

Madison looks really pissed about this. It’s not like it was my choice. She pulls in front of the bank, and they all wait for my command.

“Um, let’s make our way in.”

We get out of the car and run up the stairs. Once inside the bank, we take our positions and look around for her.

    “Psst…”
I quickly turn around to see Spencer’s head peaking out from behind a pillar. She is motioning me to come closer.

    “I can’t,” I mouth to her.

She rolls her eyes at me and keeps motioning me over.

    I shake my head.

She sighs and disappears from my sight.

“Ashley, where should we head to?”

I point my gun to a hallway. We all make our way over there, and with our back against the wall, we make our way down the hall. That is until we hear muffled screams from a closet space. Kyla opens the door to a group of hostages gagged and tied up.

“We’ll be right back,” Kyla closes the door. I can hear them all muffle a no.

“Look,” Madison points to an empty safe.

“We’re going in there,” I order.

“It’s a trap,” Chelsea lights up another cigarette.

“I’m in charge; I say we go in there, so go.”

Madison put her hand on her hip, “No way.”

I shove Madison towards the safe, “Yes way.”

They all reluctantly make their way inside the safe. The door then slams closed before I can make my way in.

    “Hey.”

I turn around, “let them out Spencer.”

    “Let me talk to you.”

“Come on, you have to let the hostages go and you have to return the money. This is ridiculous.”

“I just wanted to apologize for everything.”

“So, you lock up my friends in a safe.”
“Hey, at least they are safe.”

    I glare.

“Get it because of the umm…okay not funny.”

“I mean I guess I’m flattered you went to all this trouble to talk.”
