Kyla and Glen went back to Spencer’s room. They both sat down in a chair, Arthur was watching a cartoon and holding the baby boy, who was still fast asleep.

Arthur: "Did you two find Ashley?"

Kyla: "Yeah, she was in a car accident."

Glen: "But she’s okay!"

Aiden came into the room.

Aiden: "Hey guys."

Kyla: "Aiden,"

She got up and hugged him. He hugged back.

Aiden: "Okay, Ashley’s fine. Mrs. Carlin’s done alot of good for her."

Kyla: "I’m just so happy you were there with her. I can’t even think of what i’d do if she…"

Aiden: "Don’t Ky. Ashley’s fine. Now, where is the baby? Assuming that Spencer’s had it already."

Kyla: "Oh yeah, the baby."

Arthur: "Over here, he’s sleeping."

Aiden: "He? Seriously?"

Arthur: "Yep. A boy, who happens to look like Ashley, alot."

Aiden: "No way."

He got on his knees and looked a little closer at the baby.

Arthur: "You can hold him if you want to."

Aiden: "Oh no, I’m to big and i don’t want to hurt him."

Kyla: "Come on Aiden, hold him."

Aiden: "What if I wake him up?"

Arthur: "You won’t. Here."

He handed the baby over to Aiden”s arms. The boy inhaled sharply and made a little noise before settling down again.

Aiden: "He’s so beautiful."

Glen: "Don’t be gay dude."

Aiden: "shut up."

There was a knock on the door. Paula came in.

Paula: "Good news everyone, Ashley’s fine."

Kyla: "Is she awake? Can I see her?"

Paula: "Yes, she’s awake and alert and she’s dieing to see Spencer."

Kyla: "What room?"

Ashley: "This one.."

Paula moved out of the way as Ashley came in walking with a iv attached to her left arm. She was obviously in pain, but she was pushing past it.

Kyla: "Ashley! What are you doing you need-"

Ashley: "I need to see Spencer and my boy. At least, that’s what rumors are saying."

Arthur got up so Ashley could sit down in the chair next to Spencer.

Arthur: "Gonne tell me what happened?"

ashley: "…Squirrel Mr. Carlin. A squirrel."

She looked over at her lover.

Ashley: "Looks like she’s exhausted."

Glen: "She is, you should’ve heard her screaming and yelling and-"

Paula: "Glen!"

Glen: "well, she was."

Aiden: "Guess you should take a look at him Ash."

He bent down next to Ashley and held him where she could see him.

Ashley: "He’s so little."

Paula: "Babies are little."

Ashley smiled and touched her son’s hair.

Ashley: "He has my hair. Aw man he is gonna be hot."

He made a little movement against her hand when she brushed his face.

Aiden: "Think you could hold him?"

Ashley: "I really want to, but I might drop him."

Kyla: "Oh it’s okay Ash. I was dropped when I was a kid, I turned out fine."

Ashley: "<_< yeah okay Ky."

Paula: "Ashley, you really do need some rest."

Ashley: "I’m not leaving-"

Paula: "Okay, okay. We have to move Spencer anyway, you two can share a room."

Aiden: "what about little Spashley here."

Glen: "Little what?"

Aiden: "Spencer, Ashley, Spashley. Duh."

Paula: "Hahaha, he’s gonna go get examined."

Aiden got up and passed the baby to Paula.

Paula: "I’ll be back guys. Ashley-"

Ashley: "Don’t move. Got it."

Paula walked out of the room.

Arthur: "Well, Who’s hungry?"

Glen: "I’m starved."

Kyla: "Yeah, let’s go to the cafeteria. You gonna be okay Ash?"

Ashley didn’t hear her. She was to busy studying Spencer.

Kyla: "Okay, I’ll bring back some painkillers."

Ashley: "Spencer…"

She winced as her body objected to standing up. She pushed past the pain and slowly climbed into the bed with Spencer.Ashley pushed the hair out of Spencer’s face and kissed her on the cheek.

Ashley: "I love you so much."

A couple of tears fell from her eyes.

ashley: "I’m always gonna be there for you Spence. From now on, no matter what."
