"Tada, what do you think?"  Lee wheels me the rest of the way in.  Wow, it looks nothing like dad’s office.  It looks like they just took everything from my old room and moved it down here.  There are some new things, like the crane that Lee told me about.  I can’t use it yet because my upper body is not strong enough.  I guess she brought now so I can get used to ir.  I look around for a bit finally noticing something.

"There are no pictures of Ashley and Aiden."  My dad look at Lee,

"I don’t know why, but Leighson said that they should not be in here."  I turn to Lee

"I thought you might not to be reminded of them right now.  Just think of this room as your little project."  She looks shy like I might not like what she did.

"Thank you Lee and I would like to do some redecorating."  She smiles looking relieved. 

"Why don’t you stay for dinner Leighson?"  My dad says

"Uhm…"  She looks around not really knowing what to say

"Yeah, that would be great Lee.  Kind of like a thank you for all that you have done.  Unless you have somewhere else to be?"  I say, hoping that she would agree.

"No, I have nowhere to be. I would love to stay for dinner."  Dad rushes off to to get dinner.  Glen is still in the den.  I guess Lee didn’t tell him he could move.

"What did you say to my brother to make him act like that?"  I ask for the future when I would need to straighten him out.

"Oh nothing much.  Let’s just say I have had a lot of experience in teaching people to act correctly."  She smirks then she looks sad and a little disgusted with herself.  I want to ask more questions, but I do not want another repeat of last time.  I can be patient.  We go into the den and watch TV.  Dad calls for us when dinner is ready and we all sit around and that is when I notice a few things.

"Dad where is Clay and Chelsea?  Where is mom?"  The last one I really didn’t care about, but I wanted to know anyway.

"Clay has decided to move out with Chelsea.  Your mom, well, she will not be staying here until she can organize her life better."  What the hell is going on?  Before I can ask more questions dad has one of his own.

"Leighson when are you going to be over here tomorrow?"

"Around 2:00, why?"  Lee replies after swallowing her food.

"Glen has his therapy tomorrow at 12:00 and I need to go to work and do a few things.  Could you come over earlier and watch Spencer."

"But dad I thought we were going to get the stuff for my room tomorrow."  I say not believing that he would dump me for work.

"Sure I will come over and maybe I can take you Spence.  I know I am no substitute for your dad, but I’m sure I can manage."  Ok, that works out a lot better.  I get to spend more time with Lee.

"That would be great!"  Ok, you sounded a little too eager there Spencer.  But Lee just smiles at me, God she must think I am a dork.

"Well I better get going, I have an early session tomorrow.  How does 10:00 sound Spencer?"  Lee adds as she gets ready to leave.

"I will be waiting." 

"Ok, see you at 10:00."  I try and wheel myself to follow her to the door, but am not able to grasp it completely yet.  My dad walks up behind me and helps. 

"Tomorrow."  I sigh as she closes the door.  I can’t wait till tomorrow, it’s going to be great.  Wait we are going to be out and to stores.  What was I thinking, people will see me like this.  I don’t think I am ready for people to see me like this.
