She’s been like that the whole day. We’d go in a store, Julia and Aiden would be all lovey dovey and Lori would go to the other side of the store. We’re in a different store now.

Julia: “Hey, where’s Lori?” She asks me and Spencer as she holds Aiden’s hand. I look at Spencer.

Spencer: “Um…she’s looking around.”

Julia: “Oh. I haven’t really seen her at all today, and we’re shopping.”

Ashley: “Maybe its because you and-” I was about to tell her, but I stopped when the last person I’d ever want to see walked into the store. “Shit.” I mumble.

Aiden: “What?”

Ashley: “It’s Emily. That psycho ruined my car.” I tell them. She hasn’t seen me yet. Lori walks up to us.

Aiden: “She messed up your car? But you just got it fixed up.”

Ashley: “That’s why its fixed up, because she ruined it.” I glare at her and begin walking over, but someone catches my wrist, pulling me back. “Wha-” I look back, and of course it’s Spencer.

Spencer: “Ashley, no.” She says in a pleading tone and shaking her head.

Ashley: “Spencer she wrecked my car! I can’t just let her get away with that.”

Spencer: “But you’ll just be lowering yourself to her level if you do anything to her.” I sigh and look away from Spencer, annoyed that she’s right.

Julia: “Well no one messes with my friend and gets away with it.” I don’t object to this, but Spencer does.

Spencer: “Oh come on you guys.”

Lori: “Spencer, you should be pissed. She messed up your woman’s car!”

Spencer: “I am but-” Julia cuts her off.

Julia: “But nothing. We’re fixing this, come on Lor.” She says taking her hand and pulling her towards Emily.

I take Spencer’s hand and hide behind a clothes rack and watch. Aiden just stands there like a caveman not knowing what to do.

Spencer: “This is a bad idea.” Lori and Julia throw their arms over Emily’s shoulders in a fake friendly way.

Ashley: “Nah, I bet it’ll be great.” I grin. “Bitch is goin’ down.”

Julia: “Hey!” She says.

Lori: “Remember us?”

Emily: “Um…Aiden’s New Years party, right?”

Julia: “Yep.”

Emily: “So what do you want? I’m trying to shop here.”
