She’s into me, Right? – (Chapter: Being Hung Over. Never Good.)

Finally reaching the 4th floor, Sam entered apartment 406. He tossed his keys into the bowl that was just inside the door and looked around. It was too silent. Spencer was definitely not awake. He smirked as the plan of revenge entered his mind.

Careful not to make any more noise than he already had, Sam dropped his man-purse, walked down the hallway, and opened Spencer’s door as fast as he dared. He needn’t have worried. She was dead to the world. He crept over to her i-Pod dock and searched through the many songs that Spencer had. He found the exact one he wanted. Quickly, he turned up the volume and out of the speakers came The Hamster Song by Hampton the Hamster. The sound reverberated through the walls and Spencer jerked her head up. Luckily she was still hung over and all that could be heard of her was unintelligible grunts.

    “Nug tu fuggy nyah snat!!”

Sam laughed deeply at the look of pure confusion on Spencer’s face. She saw him belly laugh but she did nothing other than hide her head under the pillow.

Still chuckling, Sam turned down the volume and sat on the bed beside the lump that was Spencer.

“Come on sweetheart. You can’t sleep all day.” He reasoned with her.

The muffled reply that he got back sounded either like ‘Messy tang’ or ‘Less my gan’.

“What did you just say? I can’t hear you under all that pillow.”

Spencer poked her head out for a brief second and replied. “Yes I can.” Without warning she submerged herself under the mass of bedding again.

Sam just shook his head. That’s Spencer for you.

“How much did you drink last night? Did that cutie, Aiden, get you drunk again?”

The figure underneath the sheets started to crawl out, shaking with silent laughter. She was up for good now. Something must have happened last night; Spencer never recovers this fast from a hang over. Usually she sleeps till six, grabs a soda and some aspirin, and makes her way back to bed.

“What happened last night? Tell me everything.” Suddenly he wasn’t so mad at Spencer for going out last night.

It was Spencer’s turn to shake her head. This was predictable Sam. She swallowed a couple of times, trying to get rid of her sore throat. When she was sure that she had enough salvia to keep her lips from sticking together, she began the story, although it was the condensed version.

“Aiden took me to this party that his friend was throwing. I thought it was going to be boring. It really, really wasn’t.” A grin grew on Spencer’s face. “His friend that was throwing the party got in a drinking contest and then she came over to us. I had barely started to flirt with her when she sat herself down in my lap and made out with my neck. I kinda freaked and didn’t know what to do so I just let her go and by the end of the night we were both drunk. But Aiden had to go and pull her off me so all I’ve got are hickeys.” Spencer shoved her hair behind her ear and bared her neck. It was littered with small bruises from Ashley’s mouth.

“Wow…so, are you gonna go out with her soon?” Sam was in awe. Spencer had really partied hardy last night.

Spencer on the other hand was contemplating the concept of meeting Ashley again.

“I don’t think I’m going to see her again. It would be really awkward. What would I even say to someone after doing that?”

“Um, how about ‘Thanks for the hickies, maybe we can do it again some time’?

“What are you? On crack or something?” Spencer couldn’t believe him.

“I’m not on crack, but apparently you are since you’ve decided not to see a hot girl again.”

“Ugh! Go grab me some damn aspirin and turn off that idiotic song.” Spencer flopped back into bed and closed her eyes.

Sam might just never understand her. Who doesn’t like Hampton the Hamster?

    1. I like this fic. I just read both in one sitting, and it’s like that exciting feeling you know when your episode of SON is about to appear on the desktop. That delicious feel of anticipation. And the best thing is, you’ll keep writing. Right? you’ll keep writing right because you have to. Spencer needs more hickeys. And to fall in love. And have baby spashleys… whoah, getting away with myself here. Ok, More Please. Timing is up to you, just don’t give up on this fic ok.
