    Author Notes:

    Spencer hasn’t seen Ashley in awhile, and when she does, I’m not sure either of them have a clue what the hell is going on.

         Spencer shot him a look, "Clubbin’? Uh…I think I can safely say I haven’t. Why?"

         A grin spread across his face as he wiggled his eyebrows in her direction. "Because False Alarm is having college night, and you’re going."

         "False Alarm?"

         "Yup."

         "Me…at a club?"

         "You…at a club, and we’re going now before you try to find some way to weasel out of it."

         "I don’t know," Spencer held her hands out palms up, "I don’t really have anything to wear and–"

         "Oh no, you’re going." He looked her over, up and down, causing her to blush. "And you can wear that skirt, take your jacket off and the shirt is perfect." Derrick grabbed her hand pulling her towards his yellow soft-hooded Jeep. "You said you wanted to do something you haven’t done before, and unless you wanna come over to my apartment and hit up a gravity bong, I suggest you take the safe route and come with me. To the club."

         "This is so not going to end well…"

         "Why am I here?" Spencer shouted over the loud music that was thumping so loudly she was fairly certain that if she had an unexpected heartattack when she crumpled to the ground, the bassline in the song would work in resucitating her.

         "Because you’re going to have fun, that’s why." Derrick shouted back, his head already moving to the beat. "And it’s this or the bong, at least this way you get to retain some brain cells."

         "What good is that going to do me if I’m deaf before I ever reach twenty-five?" Someone rushed by, no doubt heading to the club’s bar, pushing Spencer into Derrick, who immediately wrapped his arms around her preventing an unceremonious dump to the floor. "Thanks." She felt Derrick’s arms tighten around her and leaned back so that she were able to look him in the eye. "Um…" Why is he looking at me like that? Uh-oh. "Derrick?" She spoke his name just as his head began to lower, closer to hers, "Would you get me something to drink?" I am so stalling for time, "Please?"

         He pulled back startled, looking slightly disappointed. "Yeah, sure." His arms fell from her sides. "I’ll be right back. Stay here, alright?" She gave a quick nod as he hurried away, taking in the atmosphere of her surroundings.  College night…great. I get to deal with a bunch of horny, drunk frat boys all night. At least Derrick’s here he won’t let anything happen…then again, he may be the cause of something happening. Spencer caught sight of an empty chair against a wall and began heading towards it. Maybe if I find Derrick a different girl tonight…

    1. Love the update. Too bad Spencer didnt dance with Ashley though. Im sure a drunken Ashley would of made the dancing hot. Its a good thing Spencer was there though so she can watch over Ashley. Ashley really needs to not push Spencer away. I really love this fic. post more soon.

    4. So glad to finally see a new update for this fic. I am a lil disappointed in Ashley for just disappearing for almost 2 months, she has issues. I think that Ash got upset, cuz she thought Derek was Spencer’s boyfriend or something. I like them sleeping in the same bed, with Ash being half naked, and pressed up all against Spencer, hahaha ;). I can’t wait until Spencer’s roommate comes, I hope she comes while they are still sleep. That should be interested. Please, update again soon.

    6. Ah, yay for updates…and good ones!! I can’t believe Ash disappeared for a month and a half; but Spence thought about her the whole time which is interesting. Add that to the “strange” feelings she’s having around the brunette and we have an exciting future. I hope we do get more of a conversation about what’s going on with Ash next time. And I agree with Sp0rtigirl that it’s too bad a dance didn’t occur b/c that definately would have been hott. PMS!!!

    8. Great chapter. I hope that the next one will be posted sooner and this one was. I LOVe this story because Spencer and Ashley met in College and not in high school. What is Spencer going to do if her room mate walks into her room and sees that Ashley is in bed with her? Oh I can’t wait to read the next chapter.
