Rude Comments and Silent Tears. – (Chapter: I Don't Think So.)

"Sooooo you wanna spend the night at my house?" Aiden asks, as he’s driving me home.

"I don’t know, Aid. My mom probaly wants me home so we can be all ready to catch our flight in the morning."

"What if I drive you to the airport?" No you doche. Just drop my off at my house and let me be.

    "I don’t think so."

"Ok so what if I just try talking to your mom and convince her to let you go home with me? You know, work that Dennison charm on her." He winks.

"I’m not sure my mom is going to be up for that charm at one in the morning."

"Oh." Aiden pauses to think. A moment passes and he smiles. "Well, what if-"

"Aiden just give it up. I’m not gonna spend the night at your house, ok?"

I could tell he was taking alittle aback. "Alright."

We sat in silence the rest of the ride. I feel bad for the guy. I really do. I mean he’s annoying like hell, but he has a good heart. I remember when we were dating, he was the sweetest, most thoughtful boyfriend I’ve ever had. Though Ashley completely blows him out of the water. I wonder if she is parked right outside my house. Nah, I don’t think she’d do that. She know’s either my parents or Aiden would see her. I feel a smile creep onto my face. Ashley. My girl. I love her.

"What’cha smiling about?" Aiden’s voice shakes me out of my thoughts.

    "Uh, nothing."

"Sure. Nothing. Right. I believe that." He says, sarcasim dripping from his voice.

"Bye Aiden!" I shout as he drives away.

"Call me when you get on the plane!" He yells back.

    "I will!"

Aid’s car makes a left turn, into the busy L.A nightlife. I rub my forearms with my hands. It’s getting cold out. A car drives up next to me and I automaticly back away from the street.

"What you don’t want to go home with me?" I know that voice anywhere.

"Ashley! God, I thought you were some creepy stalker." I giggle.

"Oh yes. How wouldn’t want follow that sexy ass of yours all the time." She jokes back. "Come on, hop in." I do as she commands and we speed off.
