    Ch. 9 Spencer’s POV

                       Aiden had brought me to some club down closer to CSULA tonight. We were sitting down by the bar, him drinking his margarita or whatever it was, and me with just a water. I didn’t want to get totally wasted and end up staggering to my dorm tomorrow morning. “Spencer, let’s dance!” he said, wobbling slightly. Oh no, Aiden. Do not tell me you’re buzzed. Last time you did that, I had to haul you back to your dorm and you aren’t light as a feather. Not to mention you almost puked on me and I had to take care of you all night. I thought to myself. “Aiden, please don’t drink anymore, ok? I don’t think it’d be fun for you to get drunk off your ass tonight and make me have to get you back to your dorm.” I said, putting my hand on top of his. Aiden frowned slightly at his drink and put it back on the countertop. “I’m good, Spence, don’t worry.” He said lightheartedly. He pulled me over to the dance floor with him, putting his huge, burly arms around me. Pretty soon his body was grinding against mine, and we were working up a sweat.

     

     

                  My cell phone vibrated in my pocket, and I pulled it out to see who it was: Ashley. “Hold on, Aiden, I got a phone call.” I said, moving back to the bar. “Spencer, just hang up and call them back later. Come on, let’s just enjoy ourselves tonight. It can’t be anything important.” He said, pleading with his cute, oh so expressive hazel eyes. “I’ll tell them I’ll call them back, 1 sec, Aiden.” “Ash, I’ll call you back, okay? Sorry, bye.” I said, hanging up without waiting for an answer. I turned around and put my arms around Aiden’s neck again. “Who was that?” “Nothing, just one of my partners for this project I have.” I said, wincing at my lie. Ashley was my partner alright, partner in crime, and my sex partner and who knows what else people define as partner these days. However I don’t think I should’ve said project. That would make our little affair a project, which it could be, and that scares me. Because it’d end in chaos if it was.

    1. wow… i kind of feel bad for spencer BUT she’s being a bit selfish SO my heart goes out to ash who just wants to be with her no matter if she probly going to get her heart broken in the end

    2. i don’t know who to feel bad for, spencer, ashley or aiden…i mean i shouldn’t for spencer cuz she’s cheating but than again she doesn’t understand everything going on in her heart and mind, than ashley she’s like setting herself up for heart break or not i hoping for the latter just to be with spencer and poor aiden doesn’t have a clue…pms

    3. I hate the fact that Spencer enjoyed being impaled by Aiden way too much…sickening! Anyway, Spencer needs to make a decision who she is going to be with and hopefully soon. Fear keeps us from making choices in our lives and riding the fence so to speak will keep us from finding true love and happiness. Hopefully, her turmoil will end soon. Loved the update, you write the angst so well. Loved the update…PMS
