Spencer simply nods her head and I walk Justin out. When I return to the living room I sit back down next to my wifey and once I’m comfortably snuggled up against her I murmur, “I’m going to miss you so much.”

“I know baby. I’m going to miss you too.” Spencer says as she hugs me tightly

“I don’t know how I’m going to fall asleep without you.” I whisper as I caress her stomach

Spencer chuckles and says, “The same way you’ve been falling asleep when I’m at the hospital.”

I chuckle and then think really hard to make sure I packed her at least two of her sweatshirts. They’re what are going to help me sleep. I know, it’s lame but her smell makes me think I’m holding her. It really does lull me to sleep.

“Baby, you packed my sweatshirts so stop worrying about it.” Spencer giggles

I snap my head up and grumble, “How do you do that?”

Spencer just grins and says, “I just can tell what you’re thinking Ash baby. That’s all.”

I give her a quick kiss and lay my head back on her chest. I love to hear her heartbeat. It’s so soothing. So beautiful

“So you’re coming up to see me in a couple of weeks, right?” I ask nervously. It’s the same question I’ve asked a million times already.

“Yes, Ash. Right after my hospital shift I’m going to jump on a plane and go see you. I promise.” Spencer says quietly and kisses my forehead

“Okay,” I sigh in relief. I’m going to be counting down the days till she comes and sees me.

“Are you excited Ash?” Spencer asks as she begins to play with my hair

“Excited, nervous, happy, miserable.” I ramble off

“Miserable, why?” Spencer asks surprised

“Because you’re not going with me.” I mumble into her shirt

“Aww, you’re so sweet. But it’ll be okay. I’ll see you before you know it. Just worry about your tour. Don’t worry about anything else” Spencer says

“I’ll try.” I whisper back

“Just try not to lose your cell phone.” Spencer chuckles

I laugh too. I think I’ve lost 3 cell phone in the last couple of years. Drives Spencer insane but I just can’t help it. I’m not all that attached to that contraption. Okay, I take it back I wasn’t all that attached to it because I am now. It’s my lifeline to my wifey now. Can’t lose it or I’ll go insane.
