I just sit next to her bed, talk, run my fingers through her hair gently and look at her with such longing. I need to see those chocolate eyes of hers. I need her to be okay. Kyla snaps me out of my thoughts when she places a hand gently on my shoulder, making me turn to her and say, “Yeah?”
“It’s 10 pm. I’m going to head home. I’ll be back at 6 am, okay?”
I sadly nod my head and turn my attention back to my baby.
Kyla then asks, “Are you sure you don’t want to go and eat something?”
I shake my head no and I hear her sigh in frustration but she lets it go and says, “Call me if anything changes, okay? I’ll bring you some star bucks and some clothes when I come back.”
I just nod my head without looking at her. When I feel her leave I begin to talk to her again as the tears start up again.
“Ash, baby come on wake up. You’ve slept enough sweetheart. I need to see your beautiful chocolate eyes so bad. Please wake up. I need you, Ashley. I need you so much. I love you, beautiful.” I softly sob
No response.
“Come on, beautiful. You need to wake up so that we can go do stuff. I want to take you the Disney with me. I bet you didn’t know I was a big kid at heart, huh? I love going there. Going on all the rides. Watching all the kids have a wonderful time. My favorite part is the parade. It’s so great. You’ll love going with me. That is if you don’t mind dealing with a 4 year old because that’s what I turn into when I go.” I say as I tearfully chuckle
Nothing.
“Then, you still have to sing for me. You thought I forgot about that, huh? Well I haven’t. I bet you sing like an angel. I can’t wait to hear you, sweetheart.” I sob as I place my hands on the bed, put my head on top of them and begin to weep.
I don’t know how long I’m like that and just as I’m beginning to nod off I feel shaky fingers run through my head softly. I slowly pick up my head, afraid I was dreaming it or imagining it. The hand goes from my face to my cheek and I finally look at her face. That’s when finally the world became right again.
Those beautiful chocolate eyes of her were wide open and she was just looking at me. I smile big and softly sob out, “Ashley?”
She responds in the only way she can. She softly caresses my cheek with her thumb and at that moment I returned to the land of the living.

GAH! I’m so happy I could cry! Sorry I didn’t comment on the last one, I just caught up on these last 2 updates and I gotta say…I hope Aiden’s dead. I know it’s a horrible thing to say but, that bastard deserves it for all the hell he’s put Ashley through. Not to mention Spencer and Kyla, they’ve been out of they’re minds, but especially Spencer. SO kill Aiden soon please, slow and painfully like Spashfan-9 said. Then maybe we can offically have Spashley and they can be happy and carefree for a little while, PLEASE!!! Ok, I’m done rambling, PMASAP!!!!!!!!!

great update. i loved all of spencer’s confessions at ashley’s bedside. i wonder is ash will remember any of it. this was a great update…like amazing. thanks.
