There was no response coming from either of the girls. They both sat there not speaking but their jaws were dropped to the floor. It was suprising news. The doctor looked at the shock between the girls.

"I’ll give you some time with your…" the doctor tried to figure out exactly what spencer was to ashley. I mean, he would naturally assume ashley was straight do to the fact she was pregnant. "friend" he said making it very general as he left the room.

Ashley sat there staring in the same place she was when the doctor first told her. Her eyes had closed a few times to blink, but her eyes still burned. "so," spencer began speaking trying to end the silence. "what are you gonna do?"

Ashley finally snapped out of her staring competition with the wall and looked at spencer with a smile. "im gonna keep it." Ashley said. She seemed almost relieved that she was pregnat. "Spence, this is my second chance. And this time, it can be your child too. We can raise it together."

Spencer was shocked. She didnt agree with abortion or Adoption after seeing what her brother clay was put through, BUt she didnt expect ashley to ask her for her help. Spencer was flattered and nervouse at the same time. Could she really raise a baby? It wouldnt even technically be hers. It would belong to some psyco rapist.

"what do you say? PLease spencer?" ashley began listing the reasons why because in spencers eye’s lied the question her lips couldnt push out. "I think you would make such a great mother. And I know the baby wouldnt look like you, but on the inside, the baby would still be beautiful cause you helped raise it. I would rather you be there to help raise it than anyone else."

Spencer sat there for a few seconds before turning her head to ashley and smilling. "of course ill help you raise it. Ashley, i love you so much. And we are going to take care of this baby the best way we know how." Spencer’s reassurance to ashley gave her…reassurance.

They sharred a hug before going home. Spencer had decided to go to her own house instead of ashleys and that if it was alright with her dad, ashley would spend the night.
