New Year – (Chapter: ch 1)

The beginning of a whole new year at King High, but now I’m a senior and will be graduating but I’m just glad that me and Spencer and Aiden worked it out after prom. I strolled to my usual table, plopping down and running a hand threw my hair. Last night was exhausting, Aiden invited me to a house party for one of his old basketball buddies who graduated and now played for UCLA. The whole night was a disaster, a smile played on me lips as she remembered…

I was running around me room trying to find the perfect outfit to impress Spencer so maybe we wouldn’t stay at the party to long. I couldn’t for the life of me remember why I agreed to go, but Aiden threw his little pout in there and I was a goner. Shaking my head trying to figure out how his pout still had power over me, must be a brother thing I thought tossing yet another shirt to the ground.

“You all most ready?” I jumped slightly, not hearing anyone knock let alone enter the house. Cursing under me breath for living in a mansion I quickly decided on low rider jeans that showed off my curves with a black baby tee that stopped mid way down to show off my tanned toned abs.

“Yeah,” I yelled back coming out of the closet to see Aiden sitting by my drum set. He had the drum sticks in his hands, moving crazily as if he was playing air drum or something, “You know there are real drums in front of you.”

Aiden, who hadn’t noticed me  appear from the closet, shot his head up in shock losing his grip on one of the sticks causing it to fly straight toward me, who dove for the ground in response, “Ash…sorry.” He said standing up and looking down at me, a slight smile crawling up his lips.

“This is not funny,” I growled pushing myself off the ground.

“C’mon, it is just a little.” He used his index and middle finger to show a small space.

“Can we just go, Spencer’s probably waiting…”

    “Bout that Ash…”

“What do you mean “Bout that Ash” Aiden?” I turned to him in confusion.
