“You have something to say? Do I wanna hear it?” Sophia said with a lop sided smile, knowing deep down that the next part of the conversation could very well break her heart.

“Ok, well you can tell me when I’m done. When I’m with you I smile Sophia and there is something there, I felt it that night in the club and stand here I feel it now.” Ashley confessed to the shocked girl in front of her.

“What do you feel?” Soph could not hide the smile that escaping to her lips.

"Butterflies." Ashleys cheeks flashed red at her honesty.

“What about you and Spence, I saw you tonight with her, I don’t want you saying this and me be the second choice.” Sophia’s heart was pounding she had never really expected to hear those words from Ash. From the first time her eyes had meet Ashley’s she had wanted her and now she didn’t know how to respond.

“Nothing is going on with me and Spencer. I did, think or rather hoped that something would happen with her. But it’s not going anywhere, we have always been friends and I think that’s all we are going to be.”

“So because you can’t have Spencer you want me?”

“No that’s not it at all.” Ashley tried to convince her.

“How do I know that?”

“This is how…” And with those three words Ashley leaned forward and placed her lips against Sophia’s. The kiss was soft and only last for a second but it explained it better than anything else. “So?”

“I’m just waiting till I catch my breath. But until then.” This time she moved her mouth to Ashley and kissed her. This time the kiss was a little more needed, Soph wrapped her arms around Ash and pulled her closer. She felt Ashley’s tongue glide against her bottom lip and opened her mouth wider to let the girls tongue further into her mouth.

This action was not missed by the person in the shadows, he knew that Spencer was coming out soon and went back inside to keep her from seeing the same event he had seen. He didn’t understand what he had seen, he was sure that if any two had been kissing it would have been Ashley and Spencer.
