“Home,” The new found sadness was apparent in the voice of the brunette.
“But…” The blonde tried to protest, but Ashley cut her off.
“I’m sorry that I’ve messed things up for you. I messed them up big time. But you obviously care about him. I don’t want to stand in the way of that.”
“Ash, you didn’t mess anything up. Things were already bad between Aiden and me.”
“I could stay here with you to make things easier for me. The thing is: it would be harder for you. I can’t put you through that.” Spencer watched as the girl threw away so much to keep her happy. But there was no arguing with Ashley. If she tried to leave, all you could do was say goodbye because you had to.
Spencer wrapped Ashley in a hug with her hand over her brunette curls. She breathed in the scent for what felt like the last time. The thought of Ashley being gone forever frightened the blonde. Ashley kept her sane. Now she was stuck without a choice. All the sudden she seemed to be spinning in a whirl pool of all different emotions and feelings. The hug was over too soon and the warmth was gone.
Once Ashley realized that Aiden was turned the other way and not watching, she carefully and tenderly placed her lips on the blonde’s. For safety, Ashley pulled away quickly and faked a smile. “Goodbye Spence.” She spoke weakly.
Spencer didn’t want it to be a final farewell. It was the furthest thing she wanted. She wanted Ashley but couldn’t have her. Did Ashley not love her anymore? Did she ever love her? The more Spencer thought about it, the more she realized that Ashley never said the words ‘I love you’ to her. Maybe they weren’t in love. Maybe that is why Ashley could give her up that easy. All the sudden, Spencer began to feel abandoned and angry for the abandonment.
“Just call me okay?” Ashley whispered. Spencer did nothing but nod and wave as Ashley walked to her car and drove away.
So I guess I’ll see you, I’ll see you around

I love your story!! Its descriptive and leaves me wanting more. Its (simply put)one of my favorites. Keep up the good work.
I love your stories like a fat kid loves cake. Chocolate cake to be exact. I may say that a lot but when ever I say it, I mean it. I may even love your stories even more than the fat kid does. Hehehe… Although this last post left me with a sense of foreboding. Some nasty shit is gonna be happening. I’d guess but if I was right I couldn’t live with myself. Oh well, no matter what, I usually end up suprised. Even if I know what’s coming. Keep on posting ‘cos you know I love it!
Ahhh thats SOOO freakin STUPID..that bitch is gonna tattle tail…I HATE tattle tails!! They are the most annoying, insufferable, stupid dimwitted..ASSHOLES EVER..OoO I think I kno the janitor..See whats gonna happen is..The Janitor is gonna release his life friend who just got out of prison,and is staying in the school basement on her dumb ass…So when she goes missing..dont worry about it..bubba handled her well…and as far as the phone call goes..well lets just say it never happened!! SAVY? oh man..GREAT UPDATE..I almost felt sorry for Aiden..Sorry that his Ass didn’t end up with a broken bone..C’mon I mean what is that? Are the gang/drug people loosing their touch? Oh well Spencer is into Ashley NOW..and by the way speaking of Ashley…what she did was so admirable…I LOVED IT..while making my heart hurt because she walked away…you made my heart soar with the love that fills her heart!!! *sigh* I LOVE YOU!!!;) PMS..please..the fluffy kids love you too!! PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE SOON..i need my fix!

Ah, i love how you capture the human-ness of people and their avoidance of situations. it was great. would like to see more of the breakdown of relationships ie Spadien….oooh and drama is on the horizon. “what to do to die today, at a quater or two to to.” as the tongue twister goes. anyhoo. sorry it took ages for me to read and comment this. but you konw i love the peanut. and i’m always interested in teh stories you weave

When all else fails.. hug a… :) hehehehe. You rock my socks right off the grand canyon. Then I buy more socks. Then you rock them off the grand canyon too. Now there’s environmental reports about sudden piles of socks littering the grand canyon. HOw can you live with that?? I can :) Well, no offence to Spence (hehehe, rhyme), but that was a dang stupid thing to do in a PRIMARY school. I mean really. YOu shouldn’t kiss like that in a primary school. She’s gonna get her ass fired, and it’s not really fair, but at the same time, she really does deserve a bit of a kick for that one.

ok first of i love this line “So when all else fails, give someone a hug” cos i know where it’s from. *wink* *wink* emm i read that you like longer comments so here goes. i like how well your song lyrics match the emotions in the story. i love the fact that ash was going to be the selfless one and giving up what she wants most so that spence has the time to think. ash did the right thing so it’s spence’s turn. she need to decide now. can’t wait for the splashey goodness i’m expecting in the future. i’m right, right? there’ll be a happy ending right???
