The girls entwined their legs as Ashley took a step forward, and Spencer took a step back. Ashley rested her hands on the perfectly curved waist of the blonde in front of her as Spencer rested her hands on the brunette’s shoulder. Spencer took a full step forward as Ashley took a half step back causing their sensitive spots to collide through clothing and create invisible sparks.
The mere thought of it snapped the blonde from the memory as it turned her stomach. She became the one person she never wanted to be: a liar who hurts whoever they care about just to keep themselves happy. “Can you change it?” Spencer asked in a weak tone.
“Uh, sure.” Aiden said as her pressed a few buttons and found a radio station both of them agreed on. All the blonde wanted to do was to tell the boy next to her to pull over and stop the car because what they were doing was a mistake.
She was going to have to tell Aiden sometime or another that she had cheated on him many times with one person, and that person being a girl she had fallen for so fast. The blonde became more and more confused as to what exactly love was. Is it what she had with Aiden? A relationship that was past acting differently around each other and being comfortable. Or was it what she and Ashley had? A meaningful relationship that you know would work from the second you heard them speak.
The car stopped and Spencer looked out the window to see where they were. In front of the car was a small church. It looked as though it could use some funding. The white paint was chipping off of various portions of the fake stone walls. There were plants crawling up the sides of the church in every direction. It looked as though nobody had been there in years, but someone had just come out of the small building taking that thought away from everyone. This is not how she had imagined her wedding day. Aiden was not the guy she pictured it with either. When did life get so difficult?
