“Look familiar?” Ashley asked mischievously.

I squinted my eyes at her inquisitively and then took the purse. Go figure right inside of it was the third clue.

“Why didn’t you give this to me earlier?”

“I said the exact spot I asked you out and now you’re sitting there.” The brunette patted the ground next to my butt.  

How could I be mad at that? My girlfriend remembered the exact spot where she first asked me on a date. I think I may have just melted a little.

I looked up into Ashley’s warm, chocolate brown eyes and I just had to kiss her. Wrapping my hands around her neck, I pulled the brunette from her kneeling position into my lap and planted a big one on her. She quickly reciprocated the kiss that is until a professor walked by and audibly cleared her throat. We both chuckled as the fat woman waddled down the hallway.

“Well that couldn’t have been anymore awkward.” I sighed out.

“She’s just jealous she doesn’t get a piece of my baby.” Ashley said while tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. “Oh and hurry up and read the next clue! It’s a good one.” She added getting all excited and bouncing around in my lap.

“For some reason I’m getting a bad feeling about this.” I looked at her skeptically.

“Would you just open it already?” She said through a fit of laughter.

I slowly unrolled the piece of paper, revealing clue three.

Clue # 3:

Go to the place of our first date and hit the dance floor. There you will declare your love for me and a stranger will reveal clue four.

“You’re telling me a random stranger at Ego is holding clue four and I have to tell them I love you in order to get it?”

Ashley smirked and nodded her head yes.

“Ash, you know how many people go there! By the time I fish through everyone, we’ll be into next week!”

“Well we better get going then huh?”

I groaned all the way out to the car and Ashley just kept laughing at me. What a pain in the ass this is going to be.

Once we had entered Ego, my jaw just about hit the ground from looking at all the people. Any of them could be holding clue four… this is going to take forever!

“Ashley, do I really have to do this?”

“Yes and quit whining. The sooner you get started the quicker you’ll find it.”

“Unbelievable” I muttered under my breath.

After about an hour of running all over Ego confessing my love for Ashley to random strangers, I became rather burned out. I hit up everyone in the damn club – some more than once.

“Ash I’ve checked with everyone here and nobody has it.” I sighed, taking a seat at the bar next to my girlfriend.

“Wow I’m impressed Spence.”

“Why’s that?”

“You lasted a lot longer than I thought you would.” She replied while getting up off the stool to reach in her back pocket. “Here, you deserve this.” She then handed me a crumpled up piece of paper.

“Ashhhhhh!” I felt my cheeks burning red with anger. “You’re telling me you had this the whole time!”

“Well… the original person I gave it to is a dancer here and she just so happened to give this back to me a half an hour ago when she got off work. I was going to stop you, but watching you tell everyone in the club that you love me is actually quite satisfying.” She said innocently, like it was no big deal.

“What am I gonna do with you?” I chuckled at her.

“Love me”

“You and the whole club know I already do.” I kissed her cheek and she blushed.

Once Ashley had recovered from our cute moment, she quick glanced at her watch.

“Okay read the next one cuz we gotta hurry.” She said excitedly.

“If it doesn’t involve sex I don’t want anything to do with it.” I joked with her.

“Oh it’ll be better” She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.

‘What could be better than sex with Ashley?’ I thought to myself while unfolding the paper.
