Ashley’s pov:

"Alright you guys, my name is coah Martinez. Today is try-out day. Practice will end at five. We have some new players out today and some old ones. So today go hard and show what’cha got! This is your only time to make it on this team! Lets go!" Coach Martinez yelled, and all of us took two laps around the field and did our strecthes.

"Let’s go Davies," Adien said motioning me to start a play with him and some other players. I started as a quarterback and threw the ball to player almost all the way at the touchdown and he caught it scoring on the opposite team.

"Good work Davies! Maybe an L.A. kid is what we need out here and finally make it to champioships for once!" Coah said.I was doing this all day over and over Making me feel even more confident knowing I’d be quaterback untill this happened…

I got back into positioned and called out the play.

"Hut! Hut! Hike!" Everyone got to their position of what they were supposed to do. I turn my head for one split second towards the cheerleaders. They were doing a Sexy routine and this was the part where all of the girls got low and shaked their ass to every single beat. I kept staring and staring and then I saw Spencer dancing and turning me on with every move . Then Bam! I got sacked to the ground with the ball still in hand completely out of what I was doing. Thats when coach called me out to have a talk with him. Damn! Me and my hormones!

"Davies! Get your ass over here!" He yelled at me putting another player in to play quaterback. I ran over towards him and took my helment off.

"What the hell Davies! What happened!? You were doing good all day!"

He yelled at me.

"Huh?!" He yelled again. I didn’t want to tell why so I just looked back at the cheerleaders and then back him. He gott the signal and said this..

"Listen hear Davies, you can’t let girls interfere with you while playing football. I can’t have you be distracted everytime you look at the cheerleaders! You need to focus! You got that?!" Man this guy loved to yell.

"Yeah." I said in a low voice.

"Now go back out there and show more!" He yelled and pushed me onto the field.

AFTER Practice

"Hey Ash you ready?" Spencer asked me grabing her cheer bag.

"Yeah let me just tell my sister real quick okay?" I said grabing my pads and shoving them into my bag.

"Okay, I’ll just wait here." She said leaning against the wall. I walked around the corner looking for her and spotted her with some more cheerleaders.

"Hey Kyla I’m gonna go home wit-" I was trying to tell her until I got inturupted by one of the girls

"Hey hottie whats your name?" Someone asked.

"Ew! GRoss! Stop it Tracie that’s my sister!" She screams at her.

"Really? Your Hot," Looking back at me again grabing the back of my head about to kiss me until Kyla saved me.I mean she was alright looking not ugly or anything but I was hoping for Spencer or someone else.

"Come on Ashley what is it?" Pulling me back around the corner.

"I was just gonna say that I’m gonna go home with a friend to their house and I need you to tell Mom and Dad I won’t be home till 9 or 10," I say to her about to walk back to Spencer.

"Wait? With who?" She asked grabind me from my shoulder turning me back around to face her.

"Spencer, Why?" I asked wondering why she wanted to know.

"Just asking jeeze! Look just don’t do anything stupid to get me off the squad you got that?" she says in a command pointing her finger at me.

"Alright gosh! I won’t do anything. Except make out with her something. "I say in my cocky voice.

"Oh shut up! And go already!" She says walking back to her friends.

"You ready?" I ask Spencer who was texting on her phone still against the wall.

"Yea lets go," Grabing my hand and walking to my car. I think I know who I really want to be with.
