    Ash & Jor go back. Will Madison & Spencer find out?

    Days passed. Mrs. Stral passed away only three days after her loving granddaughter had returned to Indiana. Ashley and Jorey were in confusing situations. Neither of them wanted to talk about what had happened in the car the first full day they were in Indy. They both knew that it was a mistake. The funeral was in one day. Jorey was an emotional mess. She had to deal with her grandmother’s death and to top it all off she had just made one of the biggest mistakes in her life by kissing one of her best friends. When she got back to California there was going to be a whole world that she wasn’t looking forward to face.

     

    Ashley herself wasn’t sure what to do. She wanted to be there for Jorey. But after what happened she wasn’t sure how she could be. It was both of their faults. But Ashley loved Spencer. And she couldn’t lose her. After the funeral tomorrow the two of them were heading back home. And Ashley wanted to keep what happened from Spencer for as long as she could, if not forever.

     

    The two of them were driving to meet Jorey’s father for dinner. Ashley sat in silence most of the way but she couldn’t take it. They would be going home in less than a day.

     

    “Jor, can we talk?”

     

    “About what?”

     

    Ashley laughed, “About what?! Jor, we have to talk about that kiss.”

     

    Jorey glanced over at Ashley, “It was a mistake. What else is there to say?”

     

    “What are we going to do about it? Ya know, are we going to risk losing our girlfriends over a stupid ass mistake like that?”

     

    “Ash, I can’t lose Madison. She’s the one good thing in my whole life that’s happened to me.”

     

    “And I cannot lose Spencer. I would die for her Jorey. And if I would lose her I would die without her.”

     

    “Then we’ll just forget that it ever happened?”

     

    “If that’s okay with you.”

     

    “All right. This stays in Indiana. And it is never to be spoken of again.” Ashley offered her right hand.

     

    “Deal.” Jorey shook Ashley’s hand in agreement.
