    What Spencer must do.

    Spencer: “WHAT DID YOU DO?!” I scream at Sam. At the sound of my voice she whips around to me, with a look of great surprise on her face. Before I even know it, I’m right in front of her, grabbing her by her bare shoulders, and tossing her away from my unconscious Ashley. “What did you do?! What did you do?! What did you do?!” I scream over and over again as I hurry over to where she landed on the hole’s floor.

    Sam: “I didn’t do…”

    Spencer: “DON’T LIE TO ME! What did you do, you fucking bitch?!” My clenched fist makes contact as I hover over the terrified girl. But I barely register it. Soon, my left fist follows my right, making her head snap back and ricochet hard off the floor. “I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU, I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!”

    All reason is gone.

    I don’t even notice the girl that I’m repeatedly hitting.

    All I see is a blinding white light.

    Spencer: “DID YOU FUCK HER?!”

    I don’t give her time to answer. And I don’t notice that she’s not even able to answer. I just keep hitting her with every ounce of strength that is in me that is fueled by rage.

    Spencer: “DID YOU FORCE HER?! DID YOU FORCE YOURSELF ON HER AND RAPE HER?! DID YOU?! DID YOU FUCKING RAPE HER?!”

    It’s not until I’m being dragged away from the unconscious Sam that I notice the blood coating my body and hands. I blink several times, surprised, before I see Jessica hovering over a still passed out Ashley.

    Gage: “Spence, it’s okay. Spencer, calm down, okay? Just calm down. Breathe, Spencer, take deep breaths. Good, keep breathing, just keep breathing.” I’m still watching Jess, with her head on Ashley chest, her fingers on Ashley’s wrist, as Gage’s hand rubs my back trying to sooth me. “Don’t move, Spencer, just stay right here.”

    I don’t even bother to respond. My eyes are locked on Ashley as I wait for Jess to tell me some horrible news. Out of my peripheral, I see Gage hurry over to Sam. I pull my gaze away from the couch and over to the floor.

    8. Spencer has come a long way – she couldn’t defend herself before but she was totally there for Ashley! Albeit a little bit out-of-control. Cleeden has totally redeemed himself in my eyes! I was afraid that Spencer would have to go to jail. Of all the scenarios, I expected never the quick cover-up, alibis, getting all the stories straight … Somehow, I don’t feel sorry for Sam, she’s evil! I always love how Spencer recounts her stories- she like, turns into this total, like, valley girl. And where is she headed? Ready to face her ghosts, I hope?

    10. That was wicked amazing b. Like seriously I have been in wack crisis situations like that and everyone is moving and doing shit and a few people are wasted or confused. And oh my fuck principal fucking cleeden for the epic win! I love how hes so protective over his trouble making lesbos. Ugh i love this story so hard. You are amazing. The way you write drunk Spencer is hilarious and still my favorite but lying to the authorities Spencer is a close second! I may need your address because the panties I’m wearing, right now, belong to you.

    13. Yep, intense was the first word that came to mind after reading that. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. I was thinking that the girls would have to use their influence at a higher level than the Principle (maybe they did?) but the fact the two teachers helped out was cool. I also thought they way Spencer played the police officers was funny….heck, who could resist a sweet, innocent Spencer??. Totally Awesome!!

    21. woah, so overwhelming! You know what i sensed…? that even though things were pretty messy everyone seemed to keep their cool and not engaging panic-mode. I don’t think the situation could hv been handled any better than it was. And YOU wrote it really well, I mean, u managed to get my heart racing really really fast from beginning to end… I was in the edge of my seat the whole time wondering when the s**t would hit the fan for Spencer and the cops would take her, and the thought of Ash dying crossed my mind… glad things turned out ‘fine’.oh and thanks for commenting on my story, I didn’t know you read my stuff ;)
