No no no no no no no NO!! this cant be happening. She just told me that she loves me. I cant leave now.’hmmm i wonder…’ i close my eyes in the hope that it would wake me up from this nightmare. I open my eyes. ‘DAMNIT. It didnt work….’ I’m still on Ashleys front porch tears running down my face. I knock on the front door. She opens it and doesnt notice the tears running down my cheeks at first, "Hey baby. I was begining to wonder if I Was gonna see you today." She says happily as she pulls me into a hug. she hears me sniffle and she pulls back to see my face. "Whats wrong?"

"Can I come in?"

"yeah." i sit on her couch and told

her I was leaving. And she said," What, I thought…"

"I know. So did I but we are."

"no you cant leave me. I won’t let you."

"I dont have a choice Ash. I’m only sixteen i have to live with them till im eight-teen."

"Lets runnaway together."

"What?"

"Lets runnaway together. just me and you."

"ok."

We plan to run away but it didn’t last long at all as soon as we pulled out of her driveway the cops pulled up to take me to my parents."Can I atleast say goodbye?"

"Five minutes."

"Im so sorry Ashley. I guess that I have to go. Even if it means them dragging me kicking and screaming." we let out a tearful chuckle.

"I’m really gonna miss you."

"I’m gonna miss you to."

We hug. I say, "I love you."

"I love you, too."

A single tear runs down my face. "Promise you’ll write?"

She smiles, "Promise."

"Bye." I wanted to kiss her but didn’t.

"Bye."

When I got home there was a letter from Ashley in the

mailbox and it said;

My Dearest Spencer,

I couldn’t sleep last night. I miss you so much. I see you

everywhere. Days come and go but my feelings are forever.

If you ever need me you know where to find me, I’ll always be here for you.
