Ashley shut the door and her back fell to it. She had tears running down her face. She blinked to keep from them running down her face. She stepped into Mr. Carlin’s car. She had a hour to return back to the house but first she needed to visit a place she hadn’t seen for years.

Meanwhile

Spencer told Brian that he had to stay at the hotel because it wasn’t fair for him to stay while her brothers couldn’t have anyone over. Brian understood and kissed her tonight. Spencer smiled at her father who asked for a one on one.

‘So, is this what my little girl wants?’ asked Arthur chopping up onions on the table.

Spencer nodded her head unsure, ‘Yeah, Dad, it is.’ Spencer hugged her father who kissed her on the forehead.

‘I love you no matter what, Spencer,’ said Arthur plotting a plan to get Ashley and Spencer together.

Ashley’s old Mansion

Ashley stepped out of the car slowly and brought her coat closer to the chilly wind. The mansion still looked the same. Her mother had moved out when Ashley turned 18. Ashley father had left the mansion to her and her half sister, Kylie.

Ashley got back into the car because she wasn’t ready to face her sister or ready to go visit her mother. She drove to the store to go get the wine. As walking into the store, she bumped into an ex, Paige.

‘Isn’t it firefighter wannabe Davies?’ said Paige who still hadn’t change since school.

‘Funny, Paige… but how have you been?’ said Ashley with her infamous smile. Ashley needed something to ease her mind off of Spencer but regardless, it wasn’t working.

‘I have been good but missing my ex like crazy,’ said Paige rubbing Ashley’s shoulder seductively.

‘Follow me back to where I am staying and I will come home with tonight.’ said Ashley who was walking to liquor section.

Ashley pulled into the driveway where Paige parked next to her. Ashley waved at her and walked into the house. She sat down the wine. Spencer stood at the door looking thru the window.

‘Ashley? You going somewhere?’ asked Spencer blocking the doorway.
