Love and War Intoxication – (Chapter: 17 – Riot Girrls! & A Fiery Winter Evening)
Ashley grabbed her cell phone from her cell phone and dialed Spencer’s house number. Paula had answered. "Hi Ashley! Do you want me to pass it over to Spencer?" she asked. Ashley replied, "Not really. I actually have something to ask you Mrs. Carlin." "What is it Ashley? Is there something that concerns us?" the woman asked. "Actually, I was just wondering if you’d like to come over for dinner. I have some movies prepared, music and a wonderful dinner prepared as well so if you could come, it would mean so much to me." Ashley said as she crossed her fingers in hopes that Paula would say yes. "Ashley, that sounds delightful! I’ll talk to Arthur, Spencer and Glen so we’ll definitely be there tonight. How lovely of you to invite us." Paula gushed. Ashley whispered "Yes" loudly enough that made Paula laugh lightly. "Okay, thank you Mrs. Carlin! See you soon!" Ashley told her before hanging up. Ashley began dancing in her room and didn’t notice that Kyla was sneaking away with a lighter and gas mask. The sneaky brunette left the mansion through the front door quietly as possible. She ran across the yard and spotted Madison’s black suv even though it was getting darker now. She jumped in the passenger’s seat and dumped her accessories to the back seat. "Have the kerosene ready, Madison?" Kyla asked as they began to drive away. "Sure do. Spencer’s definitely going to leave her house tonight for sure then?" Madison asked now flooring the SUV gas pedal. "I overheard Ashley celebrating to herself so her whole family will be at the mansion tonight." Kyla replied as she felt her heart pound her chest faster. Back at the Carlin residence, Spencer and her family were putting on their coats and shoes before they left to Ashley’s place. "Aw, Ashley’s so sweet. I can’t believe she prepared a whole dinner for us." Spencer said as she slid into the backseat of her parent’s white BMW sports vehicle. Glen laughed politely. "Free dinner and I’m so there!" He joked as he wrapped a seatbelt around himself. When they finally arrived at Ashley’s mansion, they parked beside Ashley’s purple convertible just incase something would happen. Arthur and Paula rung the doorbell on Ashley’s door and in an instant, Ashley was dressed in a two-piece black skirt and matching top. "Hi guys! Come on in, I have prepared pasta, garlic bread, and mashed potatoes. For desert, we’re going to have some brownies and my Sundae specialty." Ashley said excitingly as she welcomed the Carlin family. When Spencer had entered the large house last, Ashley took her coat and hung it up in a special place just for her. "You look gorgeous tonight, wifey." Spencer said as she kissed Ashley on the lips. "Spencer Davies, I could never amount to your beauty. Thank you for coming." Ashley said as she held onto Spencer’s arm and led her to the dining room. "Ashley, you have such a lovely house! I completely adore the kitchen as well!" Paula said as she walked through the large room. Arthur pulled out a seat for his wife before taking his own seat and Glen had been drooling at the food in front of him. "Wow, can we make a quick prayer so I can stuff myself already?" Glen asked as he slurped playfully. Everybody laughed and finally took their seats. "If you guys don’t mind, I’ll do the praying thing because I’m your hostess and I don’t want to be rude." Ashley said as she indicated that they all needed to hold each other’s hand before praying. "MADISON! Hurry up! I want you to escape before someone notices, okay!?" Kyla whispered loudly as she had dumped the second gallon of gasoline all over Spencer’s house. Madison finished pouring the kerosene on the front door and dumped a little bit on the sidewalk so the fire could eat up the whole house. "I’ve got the lighter. You light up the tissues in the bottles and throw them into the windows. I’ll light up everything else." Kyla stated as she took her lighter. The sounds of windows shattering began and small fires began emerging inside the rooms upstairs. Kyla walked over to the sidewalk, bent over and a small spark appeared between her fingers as she place the tip of the fire onto the poured gasoline and instantly, the fire emerged and it was quickly swallowing the front door of Spencer’s house. A few of the neighbors saw the fire and the two girls running around the yard screaming. Before Madison jumped in her vehicle, she nailed a sign on the lawn that said "FUCK YOU SPENCER". Kyla remained in the front yard as neighbors began spilling out of their houses screaming in terror. "Los Angeles! Please welcome the coolest bonfire ever created!" Kyla yelled as she raised both of her arms in victory. Back at the mansion, the Carlins said "Amen" and began eating the food on their plates. They were unaware of the fire currently eating up their house.
