"Yea!!!Daddy!"She reached up for him.He picked her hand up and she put her hands on his face.He just stared into her eyes while I waited patiently for them to finish.

"Oh my sweet Renesme."He said with a faint chuckle.

"Ready,Mr. Cullen?"I asked.

"Ready,Mrs.Cullen."He replied.We went out to the car.I looked at it and at him.He shook his head.Yes!We were going to run.We ran to the mountains which,running,took fifteen minutes tops.When we finally got there Renesme got her feed and so did we.Then we walked back.Renesme was happy to see us back together.We walked back to Charlie's.Eventually it we started to run,it got dark.When we got home Charlie was there.I said goodbye to Edward and kissed him.I gave him,Renesme to say goodbye,then we went inside.

"Hey,you guys patch things up?"Charlie asked.
"No.He wanted to see Renesme."I replied,trying not to smile.

"Oh."

I left Renesme in the living room with Charlie and went to change into pj's.I'm not sure I have to but I still play the human part.Tomorrow was Saturday and Charlie had off.I finally had some company that wasn't a vampire.Edward left that morning,earlier because Charlie was there.I went downstairs and Charlie was watching TV.

"Good morning Bella."Charlie said.

"Good morning dad."I returned.I picked up Renesme and kissed her cheek.

I went back upstairs to change and then came down and made Charlie breakfast.

"How's the food without me?"I asked jokingly.Charlie took a seat at the table.

"Not the same.Not nearly the same."Charlie laughed.Then a screech came from the driveway.It was Edward's Volvo.HE was yelling.Something was wrong.He never raised his voice to me unless it was urgent.Charlie got up and went to the door.Edward knocked hard on the door.I opened it.Charlie was right behind me.Edward grabbed my arm and pulled me off the porch.
"Hey,buddy! Let go of her."Charlie screamed.Edward growled at him.I put my hand on his chest and his eyes shot to me.
"They're coming.Get Renesme."He said low enough for only me to hear.I stood shocked.He softly pushed me to the side.He went inside and ran upstairs.He quickly packed our stuff.Charlie was yelling the whole time.Edward growled once more and Charlie reached for his gun.
"Dad!!Don't you dare."Need to Know" remember" I shouted at him like I never had before.He put his gun down and stepped aside.
He pulled me aside from Edward's rummaging.He was putting Renesme in the car and kept honking.
"Don't let him treat you like this.Your easily influenced Bells."He said seriously.

"Dad…"I tried to speak.Edward got out of the car.He threw me over his shoulder.
"Hey!"Charlie yelled at Edward.Edward didn't pay attention but I could feel his growl.

"Bye Dad!"I yelled back.

Edward put me in the car,strapped me in,and put Renesme on my lap.He was driving faster than usual and breathing fast.I put my hand over his heart.He put his hand over mine and slowly decreased his breathing pattern.

"I thought we were safe at Charlie's."I said,He didn't say anything for awhile.
"Edward?" I tried to get his attention.

"WHAT?!"He yelled.He had such anger and fear in his eyes.

I turned back around and sat in silence.

"I'm sorry.I'm sorry,Bella.I just need to keep you two safe right now.When we get home I'll tell you everything."He said with blank eyes.

When we got to the Cullen house,everyone looked worried.Edward carried me in,with Renesme in my arms.He put me down as soon as we entered the door.

"I'll take her."Rosalie offered.But she withdrew when Edward shot her a look.

"Will someone tell me what's going on?"I asked.
"Bella,they saw you at Charlie's.When you and Edward went hunting."Jasper said.I heard Edward whispering "it's my fault".

"It's not your fault!"I raised my voice,"Do you hear me?"

"Yes."He said sadly,

"What can we do?"I asked to no one in particular.
Everyone stared at Alice.

"Well."She sighed,"They're coming tomorrow.They won't hurt Charlie.Billy told them not to touch him."Alice said.

"Billy knows."I said in shock.

I gave Renesme ro Rosalie and sat next to Edward.
"This isn't your fault."I reminded him.

"I will keep you safe.No matter what happens."He stared at me with angry eyes and kissed me.It wasn't gentle.It was filled with anguish.
I knew from that moment that he was not my Edward.He was in predator mode and no one could take him out of it.
