"thank you sooo much mrs.c i couldn’t have done it with out you!"  

"no problem ashley! you are going to be my daughter so i might as well just get used to it." she said smiling

we pulled up to her house and i dropped her off. spencers room light was off so i didn’t bother going up to see her i didn’t want to wake her shes not really one of those people who can just get up and be happy. and with that i pulled out of the carlin drive way and made my way back home just intime for my mom to be getting home and she didn’t know about me purposing to spencer yet so i thought now would be the best time.

"hey mom. i have to tell you something."

"ashley. i’m listening." she said nodding in approval.

"i umm…purposed to spencer carlin." i said worried about her reaction.

"oh yeah…wait YOU WHAT?" she raised her voice which sent me a shiver.

"i purposed to spencer." i repeated myself

"ashley lynne davies get out of this house now." she said so angry and upset. i knew it would be bad but why did it affect her so much?

i just stomped my way up the stairs and got all my stuff i could together.

"ash?" kyla said standing in front of my door.

"i’m leaving kyla" i said looking at her and walking over to give her a hug.

"i’ll be at the carlins." i looked at her and she was so sad.

"don’t worry we still have like a week of school we can still hang out over summer." 

"but ash it won’t be the same..who will i torment?"

"your out of luck there" i said laughing

i grabbed my stuff gave kyla a hug and left the house. i pulled out of our drive way and sped off towards spencer’s house. i figure what paula said today shed be okay with this whole needing to live with someone thing.

i pulled into the carlin drive way and i felt tears building i now knew why my mom kicked me out. i had purposed to spencer. thats not why its because she knew i’d have a place to stay if she did get rid of me. does that mean she actually cared just a little bit? maybe theres hope.

paula walked out side and came up to my car.

"hey ashley." she said looking and smiling at me.

"hey mrs.c." she looked in the back and saw all my stuff. and then looked as if she was okay and knew what was going to happen.

"mrs.c my mom kicked me out after i told her i purposed to spencer." i said starting to cry.

"its okay ashley you can live with us for as long as you need." god paula was becoming a mom to me. i felt so loved. not like me and spencer love like mother child love. and for once i was happy about being with paula…now my mom.
